'The Voice' Season 18 Episode 3: Nick Jonas gets Allegra Miles on his team after showdown with Kelly Clarkson
Nick Jonas is definitely here to win on 'The Voice' Season 18, but he also owes Allegra Miles his jacket.
'The Voice' Season 18 returned on Monday night and as the blind auditions continued, a whole bunch of contestants lined up, hoping to get a chair turned from coaches, Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, John Legend and Blake Shelton.
Kicking off the night with an impressive tone was Allegra Miles, a 16-year-old hailing from Saint John, US Virgin Islands. Growing up on the beach, she comes from a musical family. At the age of 11, her family moved to Florida for better educational opportunities for Allegra and her sister.
Now at 16, she plays close to six gigs a week. Performing her rendition of 'Use Somebody' by Kings of Leon, she accompanied herself with an electric piano. Kelly was the first to turn her chair, and Nick followed a little later.

The coaches loved her alto tone, which is quite a standout. Kelly compared Allegra to earlier season winner, Brynn Cartelli. While Kelly pitched a good speech in order to get Allegra on her team, Nick checked all the boxes by sharing how he and Allegra have a lot in common, starting from writing their first song at 12, a musical family, and he promised her his jacket, which sealed the deal.
After a lot of contemplation, Allegra chose to go to Team Nick. Taking to Twitter, fans affirm that Allegra chose the right team and to tell Nick he owes Allegra his jacket.
