'The Voice' Season 17 returned on Tuesday night for the results of its semifinals. Tonight only four contestants will make it to next week's finale. The first three contestants with the highest number of votes will make it through automatically while the two contestants with the least number of votes will be eliminated immediately and the remaining three contestants will battle it out for the finals spot via the Instant Save.
When the coaches returned to their chairs tonight, the series brought in a few special guests to perform on 'The Voice' stage, Trace Adkins, Tones and I, Caleb Lee all took to the stage and performed. Apart from that, the series also revealed the first three contestants who made it to the finale.
Making it all the way to the finale with the highest number of votes was Katie Kadan, Jake Hoot and Ricky Duran. Katie was the first contestant who headed to the finale. Katie, Jake and Ricky have always been frontrunners and have had fans rooting for them since they auditioned.
Katie is the frontrunner for Team Legend, Jake for Team Kelly and Ricky for Team Blake. Though there is just one spot left for the finale, fans are already glad that these three contestants have made it all the way because of their impeccable performances throughout this season.
Taking to Twitter, a fan wrote, "Ricky and Katie are in the finale and that's all I care about #TheVoice." Adding to that another said, "JAKE AND RICKY ARE IN!! JAKE AND RICKY ARE IN!!! I can die happy. Now move Rose up and we are good to go. #TheVoice."
