When country singer Kaleb Lee auditioned for ‘The Voice’ Season 14, his impressive performance of Kenny Chesney’s ‘Never Wanted Nothing More’ turned two chairs and landed him in Team Blake. Standing sixth on the show, Lee carved a niche for himself in the music industry.

After losing his battle against Pryor Braid, he was taken into Team Kelly. Not only did vocal powerhouse Clarkson encourage and praise Lee throughout, but had also stated during the show that she was eager to collaborate with him, which came true when they recently delivered ‘I Dream Southern’ on ‘The Voice’ Season 17.

The country singer in an exclusive interview with MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) spoke at length about his admiration of Clarkson and how he’s grateful to her for living up to her words. Lee told us nearly a year after his exit from the show that Clarkson approached him asking if he would do a show with her while she was on her tour.

“A few weeks later she texted me and said, ‘Hey, I'm going to the studio tomorrow. Can I sing on the song?’ And I said, absolutely. And so here we are today, but those are just small little stories of how she has just lived up to her word and been just such an awesome person and human being after the show. I can't, I can't thank her enough,” he stated.

The singer revealed to us that life for him has been a whirlwind after ‘The Voice’. When asked if he’s kept in touch with his teammates, he said, “Everybody's busy. Everybody's got their own schedules and back to their own kind of worlds and lives. But it's a unique family that's built, when you're on a show like that.”

Neither has he had talked to Blake Shelton after the show. But Lee said he would like to meet him if he had the chance.

He has already released four singles and is planning on stopping with three this year. Elaborating more on the same, Lee added, “My most recent single, not including the one, that with Kelly, it was a song called ‘Nothing on You’. That was kind of going to be our end of year release. And, we were going to do, Adrienne Southern in the spring.”
