LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jax Taylor recently took to social media to make a shocking claim about his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright. In a surprising turn of events, Jax accused Brittany of something significant, sparking a wave of speculation and controversy among their followers.
In the early hours of Wednesday, the former 'Vanderpump Rules' cast member took to X formerly known as Twitter to make a big revelation about his former partner. He alleged that she had been unfaithful and had been seeing someone else since they decided to go their separate ways in February, following nearly five years of marriage.
“You may want to ask Brittany who she’s been sleeping with for the past 4 months….” Jax shared on his X account.
Several hours after deleting the tweet, Jax returned to social media to share another post, this time a picture of his and Cartwright's 3-year-old son, Cruz, peacefully sleeping next to a figure that many speculated to be Cartwright. This post only added fuel to the speculation and left fans questioning even further.
Jax's tweet, which has since been removed, was posted shortly after he revealed on their podcast, 'When Reality Hits', that he and Brittany are exploring different ways to handle their breakup.
"We are trying to figure out a lot of different things: therapy, separation, and maybe, possibly, dating other people. We are trying to exhaust everything before we have to go down the divorce road — if that would be the case," Jax said.

In the May 2024 episode of 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen', Jax provided an update on the status of his relationship with Brittany and opened up about the reasons behind their breakup. During the interview, Jax reassured host Andy Cohen that there was no cheating or betrayal involved in their relationship.
Then, Jax shared that the reason behind their split was "strictly a communication thing." He went on to say, "And until I can fix myself and get to where I want to be, I can't be good for her."
Jax has also shouldered the responsibility for the decline in their sexual intimacy, a topic that Brittany has candidly addressed in the current season of 'The Valley.'
"I'm just going through a lot of things with my mental health right now, it's a real tough process," he further added.
Jax elaborated on how the series of occurrences that preceded the broadcast of 'The Valley' had a significant impact on both him personally and on the dynamic of their relationship.
"Being married is not easy. Going through what we went through, with Covid, and then obviously losing our job on Vanderpump [Rules], and then going through all that and then having a baby, there was a lot of stuff that was just piling down on me and it was crushing me — it would crush anybody," he continued.

In 2015, Taylor and Cartwright first crossed paths at the Gold Spike bar in Las Vegas while he was gaining fame on the hit reality show 'Vanderpump Rules'. During that time, Cartwright was employed as a waitress at Hooters, showcasing the stark differences in their respective career paths.
"I was anti-marriage. I was never, never, ever going to get married. It was not in the cards for me. ... Then I met Brittany, and everything changed," Jax told People magazine in July 2019.

Jax told Cohen, "What we are going through right now is tough. Marriage is not easy."
