According to Apple TV+, Tucked among the magical redwood trees of Northern California and surrounded by her grandmother’s gargantuan roses, 17-year-old Lennie Walker, a radiant musical prodigy, struggles with overwhelming grief following the sudden loss of her older sister, Bailey. When Joe Fontaine, the charismatic new guy at school, enters Lennie’s life, she’s drawn to him. But Lennie’s complicated relationship with her sister’s devastated boyfriend, Toby, starts to affect Lennie and Joe’s budding love. Through her vivid imagination and honest, conflicted heart, Lennie navigates first love and first loss to create a song of her own. Acclaimed filmmaker Josephine Decker directs this moving adaptation of the beloved novel of the same name.

Grace Kaufman

Kaufman was born on April 29, 2002, in Los Angeles, California. She is the daughter of David Kaufman and Lisa Picotte, who are also actors. Her debut acting role was in the Carpenter Performing Arts Center's 2009 stage production of Meet Me in St Louis.

She is an actress, model, voice actor, and singer best known for her role as Kate Burns on the CBS Man Project series. Grace has also appeared in 'The Last Ship', 'Sherman Show,' 'Bubble Gum Guppies,' and 'Mr Peabody.' She has voiced Melody Mouse in 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse', Aubrey in 'Special Agent Oso', Tanya Weston in 'Jessie', Ramona in 'Doc McStuffins', and Kerry Perry in 'Lab Rats for Disney'.



 

She is also recognized for voicing Berry in Season 2 of 'Whisker Haven'. Grace Kaufman is a talented young actress who has been in a number of films. She began performing at the age of seven. Kaufman sings, dances, and is a ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop expert. With 'Man with a Plan,' 'The Last Ship,' and 'Clarence,' she amassed a six-million-dollar fortune.

Jacques Colimon, a multidisciplinary Haitian-American actor, poet, and human rights activist located in Los Angeles, has won several awards. On The Society, he plays Will LeClair.



 

Julia Schlaepfer

Julia Schlaepfer is an actress who primarily works in American films and television shows. Her role as Alice Charles in the Netflix Original TV Series 'The Politician' catapulted her to prominence. Cherry Jones is an actress from the United States. She was a five-time Tony Award nominee for her work on Broadway, winning the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for the 1995 revival of The Heiress and for the original production of Doubt in 2005. For her work as Allison Taylor in the FOX television series 24, she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2009.
