'The Resident' Season 4: Meet Matt Czuchry, Jessica Lucas, Emily VanCamp and rest of the cast of Fox's medical drama
'The Resident' is set to return with its fourth season and this time it's adding a member to the cast. The highly anticipated series comes from creators Amy Holden Jones, Hayley Schore and Roshan Seth. The medical drama follows Dr Devon Pravesh and senior resident Dr Conrad Hawkins as they navigate their duties along with their colleagues at Chastain Park Memorial Hospital. Here is the cast bringing the fourth season to fans.
Matt Czuchry as Conrad Hawkins
Czuchry is known for his work in 'The Good Wife' (2009-2016), 'Gilmore Girls' (2004-2007) and of course, 'The Resident' (2018-2021). His other notable works include 'Veronica Mars' (2006), 'Friday Night Lights' (2008) and 'Young Americans' (2000). In 2005, he was nominated for two Teen Choice Awards — one for Choice TV Breakout Performance Male for 'Gilmore Girls' and another for Choice TV Chemistry for the same production, which he shared with Alexis Bledel. In 2006, Bledel and Czuchry were nominated for another Teen Choice Award for TV — Choice Chemistry.
Manish Dayal as Devon Pravesh
Dayal is known for his work in 'The Hundred-Foot Journey' (2014), 'Viceroy's House' (2017) and 'Halt and Catch Fire' (2014). He also has producer and director credits for 'Fifteen Years Later' (2018) and producer credits from 'Finding Priya a Prom Date' (2008). His other works include his roles as Dinesh in 'The Good Wife' (2012), Raj Kher in '90210' (2011-2012), Mike Trenton in 'Identity' (2014) and Faarooq in the recent holiday movie 'Holidate' (2020).
Emily VanCamp as Nic Nevin
VanCamp is known for her works in 'Revenge' (2011-2015), 'Brothers & Sisters' (2007-2010), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War' (2016). In 2011, the actress won an ACTRA Montreal Award for Oustanding Performance — Female for 'Ben Hur' (2010) and in 2010 she was a Festival Award at San Diego Film Festival for Best Actress for 'Norman' (2010). Her other notable works include 'Black Irish' (2007), 'Demontown' (2002) and 'The Ring 2' (2005).
Jessica Lucas as Billie
According to Deadline, Billie is a new character on the show played by Lucas and is described as “once a top neurosurgery resident at Chastain who was cut after a tragic error and left under a cloud. Nic (Emily VanCamp) has known and loved her since childhood and wants her to return. Will Billie’s pride, hot temper, and ego get her in trouble again? She’ll have to control the fact she knows all too well, that she’s nearly always the smartest person in the room.” Lucas is known for her works in 'Gracepoint' and 'Gotham', and her other works include 'Cloverfield' (2008), 'The Covenant' (2006), 'Evil Dead' (2013) and 'Pompeii' (2014). In 2008, she was also nominated for a Scream Award for Breakout Performance and has been part of other productions such as 'She's the Man' (2006) and 'The L Word' (2004).
Shaunette Renée Wilson as Mina Okafor
Wilson is known for her roles as Dora Milaje in 'Black Panther' (2018) and Stephanie Reed in 'Billions' (2017). Her other works include 'A Kid Like Jake' (2018), 'White Flags' (2018) and 'Into the Dark' (2019). She also has writer, director and producer credits for 'Foxx n Wolfe' (2019), writer credit for 'White Flags' and producer credit for 'Swimming' that is now in post-production.
Malcolm-Jamal Warner as AJ “The Raptor” Austin
Warner is known for his roles as Theo Huxtable in 'The Cosby Show' (1984-1992), Alex Reed in 'Reed Between the Lines' (2011-2015), Malcolm McGee in 'Malcolm & Eddie' (1996-2000) and Cordell in 'Fool's Gold' (2008). Glenn Morshower as Marshall Winthrop
Morshower is known for his roles as Wayne Lowry in 'Bloodline' (2015-2016), General Morshower in 'Transformers: The Last Knight' (2017) and Aaron Pierce in '24' (2001-2009). His recent works include 'The Runners' (2020), 'Scream Test' (2020) and 'Delicate State' (2020). He has a release titled 'Brothers' Keeper' that listed as completed and four releases titled 'Viridian', 'Quiet In My Town', 'Black Wood' and 'Amen' in post-production. Bruce Greenwood as Randolph Bell

Jane Leeves as Kitt Voss
Leeves is known for her roles as Daphne Moon in 'Fraiser' (1993-2004), Ladybug in 'James and The Giant Peach' (1996), Serena in 'To Live and Die in L.A.' (1985) and Eenie in 'Garfield 2' (2006). The new season picks up as Dr Conrad Hawkins and Nurse Practioner Nicolette Nevin tie the knot in an intimate and beautiful wedding, strengthening their already powerful bond. Meanwhile, Chastain is transitioning from private to public hospital, causing the hero doctors to fight to fix the broken machine from the inside. Dr. Randolph Bell finds himself mining his own past to find his estranged former stepson, elite plastic surgeon Dr Jake Wong.
