This article contains spoilers for season 2 finale, episode 1: '7:01 AM'

'The Purge' season 2 finale is here, and thanks to Blumhouse's extremely nailbiting sneak peek into the culminating episode 10, we are very, very worried about both Marcus and Michelle!

As a follow up to the previous episode, where we saw the Moore's neighbor Clint attack Michelle by stabbing her in the chest, fans will rest easy knowing they were able to get Michelle to the hospital in time. The official promo for the finale shows Marcus taking Michelle inside the operation theatre, and even though they assure all the injured people coming in that they are safe within the hospital's premises, the fact that the Moore's rescued Ben on the way to the hospital raises alarm too.

Worries about what Ben might do aside, it is Marcus and Michelle's moments on the surgery table that has us concerned. The resident who arrives to assist Marcus isn't trained enough to help him with the procedure that should save Michelle's life. Marcus assures the resident that the fact that she is not trained enough and still working on purge night says a lot about how great a doctor she will be, but that doesn't ease Michelle's fear of not making it out alive.

In a feeble voice, Michelle tells her husband she is scared, but trust Marcus to always rise to the occasion to prove what a genuinely great partner he is. He assures Michelle saying "I got you, okay. I promise there is no way in hell I'll you die," and we know for a fact that he is not lying. We have seen Marcus and Michelle brave more than just an infidelity crisis through the course of this season, as she was the one who also needed therapy after they almost got purged the previous year. There is no suspicion over Michelle's loyalty to Marcus anymore, and knowing him, we should be at peace too as Michelle is definitely in good hands.

'The Purge' season finale will air on Tuesday, December 16, at 9 pm only on USA Network.
