'The Outpost' Season 3 Episode 3: What does Yavalla want? Fans call her 'sneaky snake' as she acquires kinj
Spoilers for 'The Outpost' Season 3 Episode 3 titled 'A Life for a Life'
It seems as if all of our fears regarding Yavalla (Jaye Griffiths) are coming true. In the latest episode of The CW series 'The Outpost', it looks like the last surviving high priestess of the Blackbloods might not be the best person to invest one's trust in. She seems to have ulterior motives that she hasn't let anyone in on. And despite the number of times she has repeated about the peace between the Blackbloods and the humans, Yavalla is not telling all that she knows. In fact, even Zed (Reece Ritchie) might not fully be aware of what her intentions are.
In the latest episode of 'The Outpost' Season 3 titled 'A Life For a Life', it becomes clearer and clearer that we might be right. And what's even better is that more people at the Outpost might be finding out about her true colours. As Yavalla, along with Talon (Jessica Green), Wren (Izuka Hoyle) and Janzo (Anand Desai-Barochia) try to navigate a labyrinth leading to the old city of the Blackbloods, she might be showing a bit too much greed making those around her question her integrity. This is also becoming clearer to fans. "Yeah I don't trust Yavalla #TheOutpost," tweeted one. "I wasn't sure if Yavalla deserved trust. I have no doubts about the goodness of her intentions now. #TheOutpost," added another.

In fact, even Yavalla's daughter seems to be dubious about her mother's intentions particularly when she was ready to leave her for dead. "Wren just learned an incredible lesson about her mother. #TheOutpost."

Fans warn Wren of her mother. "Yes Wren, your mother is not a good person. She's far too willing to sacrifice others to get what she wants. That's how she's going to fail. Not just herself, but all blackbloods. Wren will need to decide if she saves her mother later. #TheOutpost #theOutpostSeries."

Once she obtained the kinj, Yavalla used it on Queen Gwynn (Imogen Waterhouse). While we think it is a kinj that allows her to share mind space with humans, fans think that it is a kinj that gets others' minds under her control. We can't tell one from the other because this update happened in the last two minutes of the episode. But whatever it may be, it is not good news. "What the frak is that new kinj !?! It just made Gwynn compliant to Yavalla’s demands. #TheOutpost," tweeted a fan.

The whole episode has left fans feeling frustrated about the character. "Yavalla is a sneaky snake. #TheOutpost," a fan tweeted. "I'm going to come out and say it Yavalla is b**ch! #TheOutpost," another concurred.
