'The Outpost' Season 3 Episode 1: Garret and Talon get their moment, fans say 'It is all I’ve ever wanted'

After a long and arduous 'will-they-won't-they' battle, it looks like Talon and Garret willl finally do something about their romantic feelings

Garret and Talon have a complex relationship, to say the least. They first met when she was attacked by Plaguelings just as she arrived at the Outpost. Ever since the first season, the sexual tension between them has been a talking point among fans who root for the couple. Despite popular demand, makers of the show had kept the two apart. A lot has changed between them since those simple old days. After a long and arduous "will-they-won't-they" battle, it looks like Talon and Garret willl finally do something about their romantic feelings. Fans have wanted this for a long time. Now the question is if the makers want it too.

In the premiere episode of Season 3 of 'The Outpost', fans catch a glimpse of a glimmer of hope for Talon (Jessica Green) and her beloved Garret (Jake Stormoen). The two finally kiss! And fans feel like they have been rewarded for their time. "I can’t believe that I finally get a chance for Garret and Talon. It is all I’ve ever wanted on #TheOutpost #Garron," tweeted an excited fan.

In the episode, Talon had just managed to save him from being executed for planning Queen Gwynn's (Imogen Waterhouse) escape from house arrest. The only way she could have done it is by calling the Blackblood Priestess Yavalla (Jaye Griffiths) to the Outpost through the portal. As they are exchanging both pleasantries and grievances alike, Garret says, "You should hate me, Talon, for everything that we've been through." To which Talon says, "I've tried to hate you, Garret. I'm just not very good at it."

As the #Garron hashtag - a combination of their names Garret and Talon - there was a collective wave of uproar among fans of The CW show. "Omg that #Garron kiss, so many feels.#TheOutpost @JakeStormoen @JessGreen2," tweeted another fan.

After all those episodes that showed the two coming together and the makers teasing their union, fans are finally rewarded with it. "The chemistry between Talon & Garret #TheOutpost@JessGreen2 @JakeStormoen #Garron," a fan said. This could be credited to the talented actors Green and Stormoen. And so many fans are glad that the relationship they shipped all this time holds water. "1st episode of S3 of #TheOutpost and the #Garron ship is full on sailing!!" a fan tweeted.

'The Outpost' airs on The CW on Thursdays at 9/8c.
