Spoilers for 'The Order' Season 2

Netflix's 'The Order' Season 2 is finally here and it ends with some major cliffhangers. Pretty much all the main characters are left shaken by the events of this season so let's see where everyone stands by the end of Season 2.

Alyssa Drake and Jack Morton

Alyssa Drake (Sarah Grey) is now dead and the last we saw of him, Jack Morton (Jake Manley) was walking away into the woods with her corpse and the Vade Maecum in hand. Chances are, he'll try to use the grimoire to bring her back to life but resurrections almost never work out on these kinds of shows so we're expecting some major fallout in Season 3. In all probability, Season 3 will be all about Jack coming to terms with Alyssa's death but it's not going to be an easy task.

Hamish Duke and Vera Stone

By the end of Season 2, Vera Stone (Katharine Isabelle) has lost her magic to Alyssa and she's depending on her new lover and right-hand man Hamish Duke (Thomas Elms) to help keep up the appearance that she has powers. That charade can't last forever and the couple will probably attempt some extreme steps to get Vera her powers back. One possibility is that Hamish might try to unearth Alyssa's corpse and eat her heart, which should negate her magic. There is a precedent for an uneaten heart causing a practitioner's corpse to come back to life as a zombie so maybe that's a good idea but Jack is bound to oppose it either way.

Randall Carpio and Gabrielle Dupres

After being portrayed as a total snob throughout Season 1, Gabrielle Dupres (Louriza Tronco) has had some surprising growth in Season 2 and even become the new champion for Midnight. However, she's the one who killed Alyssa so she's going to be suffering under a lot of guilt and the only one she can really depend on is her new boyfriend Randall Carpio (Adam DiMarco). Randall is dealing with his own problems right now after having murdered Kepler (Françoise Yip). So there's bound to be a lot of drama for these two, especially after his attempts to rescue Lilith Bathory (Devery Jacobs) backfired.

Lilith Bathory and Nicole

For a large part of Season 2, Lilith was out of action and stuck in the demon realm. Throughout that time, Nicole (Anesha Bailey) kept trying to bring her back and at the end of the season, she succeeded, only to find that Lilith is now a demon and wants to go back to the demon realm, which she now considers her true home. Lilith's change is bound to be hard for everyone from Randall, who killed Kepler to help bring her back, to Jack, who still blames himself for her being sucked away to the demon realm. However, none of that can compare to how crushed Nicole must be feeling after being rejected so harshly by the woman she loves.

Unresolved threads

While Alyssa's death appears to have neutralized the threat of Praxis, for now, the organization could still return with a new leader. Plus, we still don't know where Alpha's hide locker is or who is Alpha's new champion. There's a slim chance that Alyssa herself had been chosen by the hide, in which case she may not actually be dead yet. However, in all probability, the hide is still out there waiting for the perfect champion to step up and claim it.

We're hoping all these threads will be resolved once 'The Order' returns to Netflix with Season 3. 'The Order' Season 2 is currently available for streaming on Netflix.
