LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Moose mask donned the stage with its large body builder a costume. Dressed in stereotypical Canadian lumberjack, Moose is seen sporting a plaid shirt, a red beanie, rubber boots, and black-colored shorts. Competing against Scorpio and Doll, Moose sang 'The Power of Love' by Huey Lewis and the News.

Well, Moose's journey on 'The Masked Singer' Season 9 couldn't continue for too long. The new masked singer was eliminated in the middle of the show, leaving Scorpio and Doll to go ahead for the Battle Royale round. Seeing Moose perform on the stage it felt as if the celebrity singer underneath it was someone old who couldn't move too much as throughout the performance Moose was seen standing in one place with minimal body movement. Well, Nick Cannon unmasked the Moose to be six-time Emmy Award nominee George Wendt. Keep reading to uncover all the clues.

Clues for the Moose

As soon as Moose's mask landed on the stage, a clue package was revealed to help the live audience as well as the panelists to get closer to the characteristics of the celebrity singer underneath the mask. The first clue dropped was a gift from Santa Claus. Moreover, the video shows for this masked singer had a red varsity jacket shown in it. There were drinks of milk out of a beer mug. The Moose was shown eating a lot of hot dogs and sausages indeed hinting that this celebrity singer might have a love for food. 

After Moose sang, another clue was brought on the stage to help understand the singer's character in a better way. A card with "acceptance speech" written on it was the clue for the Moose mask. Panelists guessed Moose to be either Jon Lovitz, John Goodman, or Ed O'Neill.

Moose was unmasked to be George Robert Wendt Jr whose "acceptance speech" could be a hint for his comedy profession. George has been nominated six times for Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He got famous for his sitcom 'The George Wendt Show'. The Santa Claus clue for Moose connected with George's movie named 'Santa Baby'. Well, we previously saw George revealing that he had to drink fake beer for the show, indeed, the beer clue was a hint for it. George was also a part of the movie 'Hot Dog'.



 

With Moose being eliminated in the middle of the show, Scorpio and Doll moved ahead for the Battle Royale round. However, Scorpio was also eliminated and unmasked. Doll became the winner of the '80s Night episode.

'The Masked Singer' Season 9 airs every Wednesday at 8 pm ET on Fox.
