Release date
'The Masked Singer' Season 4 will release on September 23 only on Fox. However, a sneak peek for the season will air on September 13 on the network giving a look into all the characters that will be a part of the season along with clue packages so that the audiences at home could take a guess at the celebrities behind the elaborate costumes.
Plot
'The Masked Singer' Season 3 is a reality TV singing competition series that was adapted from the South Korean format 'King of Mask Singer'. Each season sees 12 celebrities participating on the show but their identities are undercover as they take the stage dressed eloquently from head to toe in extravagant masks and costumes.
The celebrities face-off with each other while singing their hearts out but before they go on stage, a clue package about the particular celebrity is played so that the judging panel and the audiences sitting at home can guess their identities. Each member in the live audience and on the judging panel is required to record their votes after each "masked celebrity" takes to the stage. The two celebrities with the lowest votes take the stage one last time and the one receiving the lowest votes is eliminated. However, the eliminated celebrities don't step off the stage without the highly anticipated identity reveal, leaving the audiences gasping in shock or with the "we knew it already" feeling.
Judges
Nicole Scherzinger, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong and Jenny McCarthy have been on the panel for the past three seasons of the show and the network has confirmed that they all will be returning for the shows fourth edition as well.
Host
Nick Cannon
Cannon was fired by ViacomCBS for perpetuating anti-semitic conspiracy theories via his podcast 'Cannon's Class' earlier in July. However, Fox has decided to stick with him and he still is set to return to host the show's fourth season.
