Season 2 of 'The Masked Singer' is officially done and dusted with the Fox who was Wayne Brady standing out as the winner of the golden mask trophy. And with that said, the series has wasted no time in getting prepared for Season 3 of 'The Masked Singer'. Earlier this year in January, Season 1 of 'The Masked Singer' premiered. As the series topped ranking charts it quickly became Fox's most-watched unscripted series.
The famed reality TV series has viewers and fans hooked to their screens, and now we barely have two months before the series returns again. While there is just around a month left for Season 3 to premiere, here's everything you need to know about the forthcoming 'The Masked Singer' Season 3.
Release date
'The Masked Singer' Season 3 will release on February 2, 2020, right after the Super Bowl.
Plot
'The Masked Singer' Season 3 is a reality TV singing competition series that was adapted from the South Korean format 'King of Mask Singer'. The series revolves around 12 celebrities who are undercover in head-to-toe costumes and face masks that conceal their identity from other contestants, panelists, and the audience.
In each episode, the contestants are paired and compete against each other in a song of their choice in his/her real voice. After each face-off, the panelists and live audience vote and the winner is safe for the week while the loser will be up for elimination.
At the end of the episode, the losers of the face-off are subjected to the earlier votes and the panelists decide who will stay and who will be eliminated. The eliminated singer then removes their mask to reveal their identity.
Cast
The cast for each season is kept a secret. We will not get to know who is who until the season premieres and the hints start to unroll and the singers unmasked.
Judges
Nicole Scherzinger
Nicole Scherzinger is a singer, songwriter, dancer, actress and television personality. Scherzinger was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She started off by performing in high school plays and studied at Wright State University. Later she dropped out to pursue a musical career.
Scherzinger rose to fame as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls. The group released the albums PCD (2005) and Doll Domination (2008) and eventually became one among the world's best-selling girl groups. She was also a judge on 'The X Factor' US and the same in the UK.
Robin Thicke
Robin Thicke is a singer-songwriter and record producer. Thicke is the son of late actor Alan Thicke and actress Gloria Loring. He was married to actress Paula Patton. He has collaborated with various artists, such as Christina Aguilera, 3T, T.I., Nicki Minaj, K. Michelle, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Flo Rida, Brandy, Kid Cudi, and Mary J. Blige. Thicke rose to fame in 2013 with his single "Blurred Lines". The single was charted number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
Apart from Scherzinger and Thicke the other judges include Jenny McCarthy and Ken Jeong

Nick Cannon
Nick Cannon is an actor, singer, rapper, producer, television host, and activist. Cannon began his career in television as a teenager. He appeared on 'All That' before going on to host 'The Nick Cannon Show', 'Wild 'N Out', 'America's Got Talent' and 'Lip Sync Battle Shorties'.
Cannon also appeared in 'Drumline', 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' and 'Roll Bounce'. As a rapper Cannon debuted in 2003 with his hit single 'Gigolo', a collaboration with R. Kelly. He also recorded singles 'Dime Piece' and 'My Wife' which was planned for his album 'Stages', that was never released.

Alex Rudzinski is a director and producer. He is known for 'Grease Live!', 'Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert', the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards and 'Dancing With The Stars'. He was nominated for the 2018 Emmy Award under the category Outstanding Directing For A Limited Series, Movie Or Dramatic Special category for 'Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert'.
Trailer
During the finale of Season 2, Fox aired a teaser for Season 3, revealing a few of the costumes that we will get to see take center stage when the series returns. The teaser featured a Mouse, a Robot, a female version of Season 1's Monster, and a Banana.
Where to watch
'The Masked Singer' Season 3 will premiere on Fox after the Super Bowl LIV. But after its premiere, the season will air every Wednesday at 8 pm.
