'The Masked Singer': All you need to know about Group C performers and fan-guesses on which celeb is under each mask
It's time for the third episode of 'The Masked Singer' to air. In an hour from now, five brand new celebrities from Group C will grace the 'TMS' stage in elaborate costumes. The masked celebrities performing tonight are Broccoli, Jellyfish, Lips, Mushroom and Squiggly Monster. In a special season preview episode that aired on September 13, the show had introduced all the participating masked celebs as well as revealed the first clues about them.
Like every previous season, this year too, fans are ready with their guesses about who the celebrities under some of the masks are on the basis of the clue package videos. Keep reading for all we know about the Group C performers and also popular fan guesses about some of the personalities under the masks.
Broccoli
"I'm a brocco-lean, mean, heart-pumping machine. After all, it's how I got my six-pack. America, broccol-up because figuring out my identity is going to be roughage for ya," was the first clue that this celebrity revealed about himself in the preview episode.
Popular guesses that emerged among fans include professional wrestlers John Cena and Brock Lesner. A very large section of fans are also guessing that it could be Canadian actor and comedian Seth Rogen under the brocolli mask.
Jellyfish
"Brr! I assure you that even though I may be cold-blooded, I have a warm and glowing flow with H2O. America, you can search the entire ocean for a notion of who I am, but when I make it to the finals, I’m sure you’ll go from calling me invertebrate to inverte-great!" was the first clue about the Jellyfish that fans know about until now.
Professional wrestler Trinity Fatu aka Naomi is the most popular fan guess for the celebrity under this mask. A close second is Billie Eilish and Christina Aguilera.
Lips
"If you want a hint about me, I own who I am. I know that my voice can go high, but my dishes go deep. America, lip-stick around if you want to figure out my identity. But for now, my lips are sealed." Fans are sure they have the identity of this celebrity on lock and if their guesses are anything to go by, its 'RHOBH' castmate Lisa Rinna or Kris Jenner's rumored favorite child Kylie Jenner.
Mushroom
"If you want to know who's behind my mask, you'll need to figure out who's under my hats. America, you can guess and guess all day long, but figuring out who I am will be nothing but truffle." Fans are sure that this is the Emmy-winning 'Pose' star Billy Porter who is known for his hats, on and off the red carpets.
Squiggly Monster
"It's very fitting that I have so many appendages. After all, I'm known for having a lot of hands to latch onto. America, if you want to figure out who I am, don’t expect me to give you a hand, even if I have plenty to spare." Paris Hilton and Miley Cyrus' names have emerged among fans regarding the identity of this masked celebrity.
'The Masked Singer' airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on FOX.
