'The Haves And The Have Nots' returned after its startling Season 7 mid-finale back in March and Wyatt's (Aaron O'Connell) fate still lies in the balance, David (Peter Parros) is still reeling after walking in on Jeffrey (Gavin Houston) and Madison having sex, while Benny just remains Benny (Tyler Lepley) or rather what fans call plain annoying. There were some random storylines and characters in this episode and fans were not pleased as it took away from the main storyline of the show.

There was a flood of conflicting reactions to the show, as many said that it was boring and dragged out, while others were on the edge of their seats. And Veronica being her evil self brought much joy to fans. You know, that old chestnut. She decides to get a little dirty with a poolside boy, though no one is exactly sure why.

So here's what fans had to say about Benny. Well, apart from calling him whiny and annoying, of course. "10 seasons later & Benny still a b***h I see All his whining pisses me off lol #HAHN," a fan tweeted.

"Benny ain’t got a quarter to feed the meter, but always tryna control some sh*t! ***** please. #HAHN," another wrote.

"Benny getting more and more like an a*****e #HAHN," a fan wrote.

Many other fans were just tired of Benny trying to act tough and said that he gets it from his mother, Hannah. Others insisted that he shouldn't order his sister Candace around. "@iamtikasumpter Don't let Benny order u around because he's very controlling & I love the way that #CandyCane handles her business - between the sheets when she loves & in the STREETS for her hustle. I love you, sweet T, & I'll never forget how you beat down Oscar & Rocky! #HAHN," a fan wrote.

Some commented on how the character has completely derailed in this season. "I used to be in love with Benny but I'm not feeling the direction his character has gone. He's still fine tho LOL #HAHN," a fan tweeted.

"This season just started and Benny already working my nerves #HAHN," another complained.

'The Haves And The Have Nots' returned with a double premiere on Oprah Winfrey Network.
