'The Good Place' Season 4 Episode 8: It's time for the final tally, but have the humans earned enough points to make a difference?

The upcoming 'The Funeral to End All Funerals' will see the final tally and the Judge (Maya Rudolph) taking a call on whether the point system is outdated and need to be changed or if things are perfect as they are.

It's been a tiresome year for team humans, but the experiment is finally over, and when Season 4 Episode 8 of 'The Good Place' airs on Thursday, November 14 night, we will know if all the work, all the stress, and all the sacrifices were worth it. In the previously aired 'Help Is Other People' we saw Simone (Kirby Howell-Baptiste) figuring out that not everything in the neighborhood is as it seems, and John (Brandon Scott Jones) agreeing with her that they need to bail before anything goes irreversibly wrong.

However, Chidi (William Jackson Harper), true to his character, stayed back when a giant hole swallowed Brent (Benjamin Koldyke). The duo was then told by Eleanor (Kristen Bell) and Michael (Ted Danson) that they were actually in the Bad Place and that they were being low-key tortured before getting sent for the actual torture. The information led to a back and forth between Chidi and Brent, which ended with the latter, for the very first time admitting that he may actually have been in the wrong and that he treats people horribly.

Unfortunately, before the points of these selfless statements could be added to Brent's overall points, the experiment was ended and both he and Chidi got frozen. The upcoming 'The Funeral to End All Funerals' will see the final tally and the Judge (Maya Rudolph) taking a call on whether the point system is outdated and needs to be changed or if things are perfect as they are. Hopefully, Simone, John, Chidi, and Brent have all become better people since they got to the neighborhood and Judge agreeing with Michael and the team that humans should be given a better shot at going to the Good Place.

Meanwhile, the episode will also see, as the title suggests, multiple funerals, where team humans give each other their ideal funerals and sharing some kind and loving words about each other. It is, after all, their joint effort that has allowed for the experiment to be as successful as it became.

Don't forget to watch Season 4 Episode 8 of 'The Good Place' titled 'The Funeral to End All Funerals' on Friday, November 14, when it airs on NBC.
