'The Good Place' Season 4 Episode 7: Will Chidi find out about his past with Eleanor's past before the experiment ends?
The experiment that determines whether some human beings deserve a chance to go to the Good Place, or if every one of us is "b-b-b-b bad to the bone" is coming to an end with the upcoming Season 4 Episode 7 of 'The Good Place', which airs on Thursday, November 7. Despite a few setbacks and Bad Place meddling, Team Humans seems to have managed to end the experiment on a high note.
The chauvinistic Brent (Benjamin Koldyke ) was given some tough love in the previous episode after he threw a tantrum for not getting compliments on his horribly written and problematic book. It seems to have worked for him, and we are hoping to see that his overall points have increased. Meanwhile, John (Brandon Scott Jones ) has been successful in shedding his earthly habit of gossiping without thinking about the person he is throwing mud at. Thankfully his lessons with Chidi (William Jackson Harper) seem to be working.
Chidi also helped his ex-girlfriend and fake soulmate Simone (Kirby Howell-Baptiste ) become a better person by reminding her that being kind doesn't cost anything. She was convinced that the afterlife she was experiencing was her comatose mind playing tricks on her, but after her conversation with Chidi early on this season, she decided to give being nice and kind a shot.
Unfortunately, the synopsis of the upcoming episode seems to suggest that there is yet another ethical dilemma that awaits Chidi and we wonder if it has anything to do with his past with Eleanor (Kristen Bell). As we know, Chidi sacrificed his own memory so that the experiment could be conducted without any external influences and it has certainly paid off. However, if he were to come face to face with his past, and acknowledge that he gave Eleanor in the process, would he be okay with it? It remains to be seen.
