It's a confusing day in 'The Good Doctor' fandom. While the fourth season threw a winter break to come within just a month from premiering, there were also some not so well received developments between character dynamics of the show and no, Shaun Murphy and Lea moving back in together isn't all of it. Between the ongoing tension of tackling the Covid-19 crisis among other peculiar and dangerous complications with patients a touching bond developed between Morgan and Par, that ended with her suggesting he move into her spacious apartment. Park denied the offer, but something tells us this isn't the endo f what's been sparked between the two - an ignition that fans are now responding with disgusted "Yikes!"

Episode 4 of Season 4, titled 'Not the Same' saw Shaun and the other doctors reach out to their colleagues, each asking how the other is doing. While not everybody was ready to tell Shaun their business, his junior residents sure opened up to him in a way that most people usually open up to Park on the show. So naturally in this episode when Park decided to reach out to Morgan to ask her about her feelings, while she struggled and fought back at letting him in at first, eventually she warmed up. Morgan recently lost her spot at the surgery table for being a disruptive presence and having worked so hard for it, it's understandable why she is being so cold and dismissive towards everybody. Park gets that, and while she is not apologetic for screwing things up between him and Claire, Morgan finds it in her heart to ask Par how he is doing too.

This prompts Park to let her into his personal struggle with his son and wife back home in Arizona and he hints at their family dynamics and relationship falling apart. ark can't travel back home just yet, so Morgan suggests he move in with her. That would save him wasting money on a motel, but Park declines the offer. Yet the upcoming Episode 5: 'Fault's synopsis eases that the two are going to bond further over failed relationships. Does that mean Park is officially separated from his wife Mia? While that's a possible development,  fans of the show have also noticed how the series can't just let platonic relationships be. And that has prompted them to worry and complain about Park and Morgan becoming something more than close friends or even roomies.

Soon as this development came about, fans flocked to Twitter to express their distaste in all of this. "Are Morgan and Park going become a couple??" asked a concerned fan. Another chimed in, "Seriously are Morgan and Park about to be engaged by the end of this season?" while one of them wrote "Morgan and Dr. Park will eventually sleep together I have a feeling."

Others were too sure this was definitely going to happen. "Morgan and Park better not start anything...I know this show doesn’t believe in platonic friendships," warned a fan on Twitter. Another wrote: "Ps: please dear God DO NOT let Morgan and park sleep together." A third fan also noted: "all jokes aside, if they really make park and morgan a thing they’ll be proving us how these writers just cannot write a woman having a real friendship with a man without turning that into something romantic and that is quite disappointing." Another one mentioned: "My mom said (about Park & Morgan) “if those two end up getting together, I’m gonna be mad.” I don’t know how I would feel though." Summing it up for the entire fandom at this point, a fan kept it short and simple and wrote: "Park and Morgan living together? Yikes."

'The Good Doctor' Season 4 airs on Mondays at 10 pm only on ABC.
