‘The Good Doctor’ Season 3 is almost near its end and we can’t wait for the dramatic finale that would change the lives and journeys of many of our favorite doctors at the St. Bonaventure Hospital. However, before the two-part finale is set to air, the show goes on a short hiatus of a week. While they are on break, we take the opportunity to speculate and assess what could happen when it comes back on air.

The network released the synopsis of upcoming Episode 19, titled ‘Hurt’, which explains how the city of San Jose suffers a massive earthquake and how that puts St. Bonaventure Hospital on high alert. While they rush to save patients, the team of doctors and all hospital staff also struggle to do internal damage control and ensure safety of everyone under the roof.

As far as our favorite surgeons are concerned, we would see Dr. Neil Melendez (Nicholas Gonzalez) and Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff) attending a charity event when their lives appear to be at risk from the earthquake.

Then, there is our perpetual concern about Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore). But we are sure that he is definitely not going anywhere. Although we know from the previous episodes that he has been through a severe emotional turmoil and the preview also shows him struggling to get out of the rubble, we can say for sure that being the hero of the story, he will survive this catastrophe.

On a positive note, this is not the first time that the team of St. Bonaventure Hospital has encountered a disaster. In an earlier season, they went through a similar situation and they fought through it with flying colors! So we can only hope that this is just another roadblock on their journey to the next chapter of the story. But we might lose some good people on the way.

So, who will survive and whom will we lose from ‘The Good Doctors’ as the season bids adieu? Guess, we have to wait, but for the time being, you can catch up on the previous episodes and stay updated on what’s happening this season.

Take a peek here at what’s coming as the show comes back on air.

The two-part season finale of ‘The Good Doctor’ will air its first installment on March 23, 10 pm/9 c, only on ABC.
