LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Golden Bachelor' Marina Pererra is a sixty-year-old educator based out of Los Angeles and has not one but three master's degrees to her credit.

Originally from Sri Lanka, she is a mother to two children and also cares for two fur babies.

Marina has openly expressed her wish to prepare casseroles for the titular golden bachelor, Gerry, to complement their date nights.

She is hopeful of finding her ideal partner type in Gerry, whom she wishes to take on a trip to her native Sri Lanka to soak in the picturesque sights and bask in each other's company.

Marina embraces her identity as a backpacker and is consistently driven by wanderlust. Having explored over 34 countries, one of her most cherished experiences includes her visit to Barcelona, where she fondly recalls posing in front of the historic Torre Agbar.

Marina believes that her impatience with waiting in line keeps pushing her onto the next journey as she navigates from one beautiful moment in life to another.

'The Golden Bachelor' contestant Marina Perera pays tribute to her late brother John Roshal

Family holds a special place for Marina and familial relations assume the highest priority in her life.

In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Marina paid tribute to her late brother John Roshal Amendra Perera who unfortunately passed away on December 22, 2018.

Who is Gerry Turner from 'The Golden Bachelor'?

Gerry Turner appears on 'The Golden Bachelor' as the show's 72-year-old epicenter around whom the 22 female contestants revolve.

While leading a retired life, Gerry decided to give his love life a second chance following the death of his wife Toni in 2017. He has children of his own who have supported his participation in the show.
