LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 6, titled 'The Debate,' officially premiered on Max on Thursday, April 11.

The series is inspired by Amy Chozick's memoir 'Chasing Hillary,' offering a glimpse into the lives of journalists covering Hillary Clinton's campaign bus during the 2008 and 2016 presidential races.

Created by Amy Chozick and Julie Plec, 'The Girls on the Bus' reflects real-life politics by focusing on female journalists covering a presidential campaign.

In Episode 6 of 'The Girls on the Bus,' several significant revelations unfolded, adding depth and intrigue to the storyline. Here are the five most noteworthy reveals from the episode:

In 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 6, the storyline concludes with a hint that Sadie McCarthy (Melissa Benoist) might be pregnant.

At the end of 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 6, Lola Rahaii (Natasha Behnam) comes to Sadie’s room and requests a tampon.

When Sadie checked her menstrual cycle app on her phone, she realized her period was 8 days late.

This suggests the possibility of her being pregnant, especially given her past involvement with Malcolm (Brandon Scott), a spokesperson for presidential candidate Felicity Walker (Hettienne Park).

If Sadie is pregnant, both she and Malcolm could face serious repercussions, including the possibility of losing their jobs.

Kimberlyn Kendrick misses the debate coverage in 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 6

In 'The Girls on the Bus' Episode 6, Kimberlyn Kendrick (Christina Elmore), a journalist at Liberty Direct News, misses covering the presidential debate due to the bus becoming stranded in the middle of the road.

When Kimberlyn checked her phone and discovered that her female colleague had been selected to cover a news show when she was supposed to cover the debate, she felt sad.

Kimberlyn expresses to Lola her wish to leave her job but feels stuck because she worries she won't find a place where she belongs if she doesn't fit in at Liberty Direct News.

Malcolm declares his love for Sadie McCarthy in Episode 6

In Episode 6, Malcolm finally summoned the courage to confess his love to Sadie. He also confronted her about ghosting him earlier, criticizing her for never taking accountability for her actions and for being emotionally distant.

He told Sadie that he believed she hadn't shown any personal growth or development over the past three years.

Sadie's reaction to Malcolm's love confession left viewers on the edge of their seats, as her response was not immediately clear. If Sadie were to become pregnant with his child, she would need to have a serious discussion with him to address the situation.

At the end of Episode 5 of 'The Girls on the Bus,' Sadie and Grace Gordon Greene (Carla Gugino) decided to join forces and pursue the story involving Felicity's super PAC.

In Episode 6, Grace and Sadie initiated their investigation by delving into potential connections between Walker's donors and former staff members.

Their efforts led them to discover that Missy Monroe, a videographer whom Walker had fired, had received a scholarship from a non-profit organization where Walker served on the board of directors.

They became increasingly suspicious about Felicity's super PAC, believing that pursuing this lead could help them uncover secrets about Felicity's donors and potentially reveal hidden agendas or illicit activities.

Lola Rahaii faces uncertainty as management abruptly ends their partnership

The situation escalated when the bus became stranded, leaving her without Wi-Fi for most of the journey. When her management ultimately decided to drop her due to her lack of posting, Lola found herself uncertain about her next steps.

As a content creator, sponsorships are crucial for Lola's financial stability. In the upcoming episode, Lola needs to secure sponsorships to generate income and remain on the bus.
