The post-'Crisis' world saw the return of old foes. If Mirror Master was given a chilly reintroduction in 'Marathon', the upcoming episode will see the return of Katee Sackhoff's Amunet. The character was name-dropped in Season 5's 'Godspeed' and will now be one of the metas Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin) will be up against. While the promo and synopsis speak about Valentine's Day as a theme, there's still enough evil to be fought.

At the moment, all eyes are on Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton), who at the end of 'Marathon', was grabbed into a mirror by a pair of glass hands. However, the synopsis also looks at Kayla Compton's Allegra Garcia who has been a key member of Team Flash, or rather, team Iris since the start of Season 6. Her relationship with Tom Cavanagh's Harrison Nash Wells was widely discussed just before the epic crossover. 'Love Is a Battlefield' — a title borrowed from the 83' album, 'Live from Earth', by Pat Benatar — will most definitely shed more light about the duo.

Before the end of last week's episode, Nash was shown looking at a photo of himself with Allegra that strongly hinted at a new connection. The showrunner, Eric Wallace, in an interview with TVLine teased it as an important storyline. "That’s a very big storyline: Who is in that photograph? What does the photograph mean to everyone? And how does it affect Team Flash?" He also added the connection would be explained in the upcoming episode.

The official synopsis of the episode reads: "LOVE IS IN THE AIR – Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris (Candice Patton) plan a romantic dinner for Valentine’s Day but their evening is interrupted by an old foe – Amunet (guest star Katee Sackhoff). Meanwhile, Frost (Danielle Panabaker) gets into the holiday spirit and attempts to help Allegra (guest star Kayla Compton) reconnect with an old love. Sudz Sutherland directed the episode written by Kelly Wheeler & Jeff Hersh (#611). Original airdate 2/11/2020."
