'The Family Chantel': Chantel calls Nicole's boyfriend her 'client' as tensions grow in the family
Chantel Everett has had a hard time adjusting to Pedro Jimeno and his family. The reality star has felt that his family had made sure their relationship is not successful. To make things worse, her family did not seem to get along with Pedro's family as well. When the two first met in Season 1, things became wild as Nicole tried to make Chantel jealous.
Nicole showed Chantel a video she had taken of Pedro where he was seen dancing with another woman. Chantel grew jealous and demanded him to confront the woman and make it clear he had no intention of being with her. The confrontation led to an argument as Chantel ended up throwing water at the woman.
Since then, she knew Pedro and his family will do anything to have an impact on her marriage. In the latest season, things do not seem to get any better. Chantel still has a problem with Pedro's family coming to the US as she thinks they would not let her live in peace. However, some things might be out of her hand. Nicole revealed she was seeing someone in the US and they were serious. Opening up more about the relationship, Nicole revealed her new man had been staying in New York and they were serious. The pair had met twice and she was planning on bringing him to meet her mother.
Pedro too had some thoughts about this relationship. He was keen to find out who this new man was as he had not heard about him. He decided to meet him in a bid to get to know more about him. Pedro wanted to make sure his sister was dating the right man. Meanwhile, Chantel thought Nicole might be dating her boyfriend to come to the US.
Nicole had always been vocal about wanting to come to the US and keeping that in mind, Chantel thought her relationship could be a product of this desire. She was quick to refer to him as Nicole's "client" and stated she did not know about the clients she has in her life. Hearing this, Pedro was furious and asked Chantel to watch what she was saying.
While Chantel did not apologize, there is no doubt things between her and Nicole are yet to get better. Will this season see a change in their attitudes?
