Winter Everett and Jah had been in a happy relationship for nearly six years, and the pair had plans of spending the rest of their life together. In the previous season, Winter and Jah did not hold back in opening up about the understanding they stared in the relationship. It reached a point where Jah decided to take a big step.

Opening up to Winter's sister Chantel Everett, Jah hinted that he was planning on asking Winter to marry him. However, it raised a lot of questions in Chantel's mind. Even though Jah and Winter had been together for six years she felt like there were a lot of unanswered questions about him that the family didn't know.

To make sure her sister is not making a wrong decision, Chantel and her mother Karen Everett decided to hire a private investigator and look into the matter. They were shocked to find out Jah had a son for nine years and he had been paying child support for the same. The pair decided to break the news to Winter who was left shocked.

Jah, who has another daughter, decided not to comment on this situation. After hearing this news, Winter was shocked and decided to walk out. Appearing in the latest season of the show, Winter opened up about her relationship with Jah. The reality star revealed the news had broken her and she was coping with it one day at a time.

Despite this, she admitted there were many days when she misses him. It is unclear if the two are still together or not. However, Karen had previously revealed Winter had been struggling to move past what had happened in the relationship. “Right now, Winter, she is visibly hurt and also very confused. I think we are all confused, really,” she had said at that time, as reported by Intouch weekly.

“I do not know at this moment in time if he has provided her with any sort of excuse as to why he did not inform her that he has two children. I want to know,” she continued. Viewers did not get any answers from Jah in the previous season. With the show back, it is possible he would make an appearance and answer all the questions that the viewers have.

'The Family Chantel' airs on Mondays at 9 pm ET on TLC.
