Back to it, Oak Islanders! It has been eight years and we, like the Laginas, have been trying to solve the mystery of the mysterious island. But this season, they might have just solved it. In the upcoming episode, the team is going to make some crucial discoveries about the stone roadway in the swamp. It turns out, it could just have been leading to the Money Pit all along. All roads lead to the Money Pit when it comes to Oak Island.

The synopsis reads: "Rick, Marty and the team are astonished when they realize the mysterious stone roadway in the swamp may be heading directly towards the Money Pit."

For the past few episodes, the team has been trying to decipher the link between the sea and the swamp and the mysterious roadway. Could the roadway have been used by seafarers to unload treasure? Or, was it intended for something else? The team has tried exploring, but to little or no success. Alex Lagina did try diving into the murky depths but due to poor visibility, he could not find anything.

Meanwhile, they even trying working on Erin Helton's understanding of Zena Halpern's ancient map. Erin had a curious understanding of her map, which pointed to the existence of several 'boulders', as well as the fact that they've been digging in the wrong Money Pit area for a while now. She provided them the coordinates and said that using these, they should be able to find a tunnel. However, they were not able to do so and regretfully asked her to make a re-assessment of the situation again. They also tried analyzing the mysterious serpent mound too and questioned whether it dated back to the Knights Templar. For the lovers of the Knights Templar theory, this season has been full of their references. On the other hand, Gary Drayton found a Chinese coin, which shows that there might have been Chinese activity on the island too. There are a lot of mysteries and riddles about the island, and it remains to be seen whether the team is close to solving it or not.
