Fellow treasure hunters and well, watchers — 'The Curse Of Oak Island' will not be airing today, February 18. The show will return next week on February 25 on History Channel at 9 pm.

Now that brothers Rick and Marty Lagina have unearthed solid evidence that the swamp is man-made, the show promises to get even more exciting in the following episode. Episode 14, titled '99',  will show the team continue to dig around the swamp and also hunt for the legendary 90-Foot Stone.

In the preview for Episode  14, Rick said that they did their best to dig up the area around the Rhodendron Bush in the Dartmouth Heritage Museum, where they were convinced it was buried.

However, they did not find it. Rick is determined to continue with their search though. The episode will also continue from the time Gary Drayton found a ship's spike, which they believe is from the 1700s and was used to build a wharf.

The team's spirits have refused to be dampened, even after Hurricane Dorian, which filled the swamp with water and eroded weeks of work.

The Oak Island riddle has troubled scholars for practically two centuries. It is believed that a mound of treasure is buried somewhere on the island.

Treasure hunters have scoured the island manically, in the hope that they will be the ones to extricate wooden chests filled with gold. In 1795, young men discovered a depression in the ground beneath an old oak tree on Oak island, leading them to the conclusion that there is treasure buried there.

The hunt continued in the late 1800s, with little success but more ferocity. And then began the "curse", where five humans perished in the hunt for buried treasure. According to the legend, in order to solve the Oak Island mystery, seven had to die.

'The Curse Of Oak Island' airs on History Channel Tuesdays at 9 pm.
