There's an ancient saying that if you want to win someone's heart, the sweetest and simplest method is to try to do it via food. Basically, cooking them the most delicious meals so that they would never forget your name or the dish you served. NBC is bringing you a new dating show titled 'The Courtship', which is a blend of old-school romance and modern dating of art. The show is like reading a classic old Jane Austen book but with the hinge of modern dating.
The show is all about a young lady, Nicole Remy from Seattle, who is fed up with swiping right to find her true love. As a result, NBC transported her to a Regency-era castle in England, where 16 men dressed in Regency attire competed for her attention. Who is Giuseppe Castronovo?
Giuseppe Castronovo is one of the suitors on the show who will be competing for Nicole's love and affection. He is the founder of a pizzeria in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. We know this Italian lad will put his heart and soul into whatever he does, whether it's preparing the perfect pizza or falling in love. After owning a pizza boat and sailing the Jersey Shore slinging pizza and wooing the girls, Giuseppe founded a pizzeria with his father. Giuseppe was raised in a large Italian family, with his Sicilian grandparents acting as the glue that held it all together. After watching his late grandparents experience genuine love, he hopped from relationship to relationship in the hopes of finding that particular spark, but he became bored of modern-day dating. Giuseppe is looking for a queen and to make her heart warm, stomach full and fill her with lot of laughter. The Italian lad is likewise pretty daring, and he appears to be having a good time.
He recently graduated from Rutgers Business School. Working in this fast-paced atmosphere while studying Rutgers and subsequently graduating has taught him excellent time management skills, without which he would not have been able to open his own restaurant, 'Oakwood's Point Pizza.'
Not only that, but in one of his social media posts, Giuseppe says, During quarantine I dropped to 160lbs from 185. I was depressed and beside myself. And if you know me you know I always struggled to gain weight. Well 2 months after gyms opened I’m at 182, dipping 60lbs of chains for 20 reps. Mental and physical health almost back to 100%“. this shows that the man knows how to cook and then how to lose it in a healthy way.
We're certain that this man will use his culinary prowess to wow our heroine. Also, who doesn't enjoy pizza, especially when it's baked with such love?
On NBC on Sunday, March 6 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, catch Giuseppe Castronovo and his cooking skills in 'The Courtship.'
