LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In 'The Boys' Season 4, there are hints that Billy Butcher might have acquired superpowers after injecting himself with Compound V. Despite his skepticism about its effects, a confrontation with Ezekiel strongly suggests otherwise.

Butcher's ability to tear apart a Supe like Ezekiel, even if he blacks out, suggests he has new powers.

In the comics, Butcher has typical Supe powers like super strength and speed. He hasn't shown these in 'The Boys' Season 4, except in his fight with Ezekiel. This fight hints he might have strange new abilities from Compound V.

Since the show is different from the comics, Butcher could have powers like controlling veins or copying other powers.

The dead rabbit scene from 'The Boys' may have hinted at Butcher's superpower

In 'The Boys' Season 4, Episode 5, Butcher and his team come across animals injected with Compound V. Butcher takes special notice of a rabbit given Temp V, a temporary version of the drug.

They find it in Neuman's lab, where it stands out for its calm behavior compared to the aggressive superpowered animals.

Later on, Butcher encounters the same rabbit again. It's dying, with tentacles emerging from its body due to Temp V's effects. This situation parallels Butcher's own struggle with Temp V, where earlier scenes hinted at something ominous moving through his body, initially resembling veins but hinting at a deeper change.

The fate of the rabbit suggests that Temp V could be altering Butcher as well, possibly granting him a Supe power. Despite the danger, after taking real Compound V, Butcher might manage to harness this power without succumbing to its fatal effects.

This development could shed light on his encounter with Ezekiel, who exhibits signs of Temp V's impact and potential hidden abilities. Episode 5 drops clues supporting this intriguing storyline.

Clues in 'The Boys' Season 4 suggest Butcher may possess disturbing Supe powers

In 'The Boys' Season 4, Episode 5, there are signs that Butcher might possess Supe powers. During a discussion about using a dose of the Supe virus, Butcher suggests saving it for Homelander and leaving others behind.

Starlight calls him "a monster" for risking their lives, and MM tries to reassure Butcher that he's not a monster.

While Starlight's and MM's words may seem ordinary, their conversation hints at deeper meanings. Given Butcher's actions against Ezekiel, there's a suggestion of darkness within him.

If Butcher does have Supe powers, they might not be flashy like laser eyes but something unsettling, similar to what happened with the rabbit. This suggests an inner turmoil in Butcher, possibly leading to tentacles or another eerie ability emerging.

The upcoming episodes of 'The Boys' Season 4 are likely to reveal more about Butcher's situation and his connection to the Compound V he took from Frenchie.

If he does indeed possess Supe powers, there could have been earlier hints in the show. This development could significantly alter Butcher's path in 'The Boys' Season 5 and shift the dynamics in the battle against Homelander.
