'The Boys' Season 3 Episode 8: 'Underwhelming' finale leaves fans disappointed, wish it ended with 'Herogasm'
Contains spoilers from 'The Boys' Season 3 Episode 8
'The Boys' Season 3 Episode 8 didn't exactly get the rousing reception that it expected and in fact received for 'Herogasm'. Some fans felt the series finale was a damp squib compared to the rest of the episodes in the season and hoped it would be a better installment next. With Season 4 confirmed and set to go into production in August, chances are the new season may land as early as June 2024.
Season 3 ended with Noir killed by Homelander (Antony Starr) after the latter felt betrayed by his most-trusted supe. Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) lost an eye and her powers in the process of taking down Soldier Boy, who has gone back to being on the ice in a safe facility. The country has still embraced the psychotic Homelander as the leader supreme. Butcher (Karl Urban) inches close to his death from the effects of Temp V, while Starlight (Erin Moriarty) officially becomes a member of the boys as they plan to take on Victoria Neuman.
