'The Book of Boba Fett' Episode 6: Grogu's return has fans asking whether he returns to Mando or stays with Luke Skywalker

The episode sees Grogu, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) all return making the 45-minute episode a grand reunion.

If it was the arrival of the Mandalorian in the previous episode of 'The Book of BobanFett' who stunned 'Star Wars' fans, they were in for more of a treat with Baby Yoda/Grogu taking up some major screentime in the penultimate episode of the spinoff. The episode sees Grogu, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) all return making the 45-minute episode a grand reunion. However, the finale will surely focus on Boba (Temuera Morrison) and Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) and their battle against the Pyke Syndicate.

The chapter sees Din Djarin/Mando (Pedro Pascal) go in search of Grogu and finally meets him, but not before Ahsoka tells him that Grogu's attachment to Mando might disrupt the lil tyke's journey as a Padawan. A disappointed Mando leaves the planet without seeing Grogu but hands the Mandalorian armor made for the foundling to Ahsoka. She hands the armor to Luke who gives Grogu a choice between picking the armor or the lightsaber that belonged to Yoda.

Twitter couldn't handle the excitement. "also. // tbobf spoilers unless grogu is gonna be fighting in boba’s war. why was more than half of this episode a grogu training montage?" one of the fans asked.

"tbobf spoilers - - - in all seriousness luke making grogu pick between din and being a jedi feels very ooc. if this is something we’ll see resolved with luke in the near future then that’s fine but i refuse to believe his jedi academy would have an anti attachment stance," a fan theorized. "Oh my god the new #bookofbobafett episode is the best we have gotten between this show and the Mandalorian. We had Mando, GROGU, LUKE, AHSOKA, ORDER 66 FLASHBACKS, GROGU TRAINING! YODA LIGHTSABER! FRICKEN CAD BANE LIKE OH MY GOD IT IS INCREDIBLE!" a fan tweeted.

"No way we just saw Luke SKYWALKER , Grogu, MANDO, CAD BANE, AHSOKA, and ORDER 66 all in one episode of the BOOK OF BOBA FETT #BookofBobaFett," a comment read. "Spoilers!! . . . . . . Ahhhh totally agreed. Amazing episode and I completely loved it but so out of place in the tbobf series. This shoulda been the opening ep for mando s3. Shoulda gotten din turning up in tbobf with his nubian ship and lil cloth grogu with like zero context," a fan opined.

The episode ends with Grogu deciding who he wants to be with and although the answer is unclear at the moment. It does appear that Grogu might return to Mando considering the bond he shares with the bounty hunter. With the finale all set to focus on Boba and the gang vs the Syndicate, we may have to wait for 'The Mandalorian' Season 3 to see the side Grogu has picked.
