Since the beginning of Season 7 of 'The Blacklist', Katarina (Laila Robins) has been one step ahead of Red (James Spader) and the Task Force, which was exasperating for the fans to watch, especially considering Liz (Megan Boone) has been fraternizing with her and had no clue that the Russian lady next door was her biological mother. However, it finally seems like Red and Liz are catching up, and they may even have an ingenious plan to take her down once and for all.

In one of the promotional photos for the upcoming Season 7 Episode 9 of the NBC series, we see Liz standing next to Katarina as they both stare down at the Stranger aka Ilya Koslov (Brett Cullen) who is being tortured. It is clear that Liz now knows that Katarina is who she claims she is, after getting the first clue when little Agnes painted a "dead man from the park" and she saw blood in the washroom there. However, it remains to be seen if she will put two and two together and realize the truth. That much remains to be seen.

Even if Liz does not realize that she is Katarina, and the latter tried to manipulate her, she has met the Stranger as Frank Bloom before and would recognize him as Red's friend. That being said, if Katarina were to come clean and go on to give her whole speech about not wanting to be controlled by men anymore, we might see Liz switching sides. However, we hope that she uses Katarina's seeming soft spot for her and becomes a double agent for Red.

In the trailer for 'Orion Relocation Services', we see her talking to Red about the return of her murderous mother and how she has been hurting the people in his life. She will hopefully trust him and help him taken Katarina down in the upcoming Season 7 Episode 9 of 'The Blacklist', titled 'Orion Relocation Services', which will be aired by NBC on Friday, December 6.
