Plot

The contestants are first weighed in when they enter the show, before splitting them into two teams, this weight serves as the baseline for the rest of the season. Each week the teams are weighed in to see who has lost more weight, and the team with the members who have lost very little weight are put at the risk of elimination. These eliminations go on until the size of the contestants has reduced to a small number when the groups are dissolved and the contestants compete individually for an attractive prize and the coveted 'The Biggest Loser' title.
