LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Bachelorette' star Jenn Tran opened up about her parents reactions to her intimate scenes on the popular ABC show. When asked if how it felt to be surrounded by so many cameras while kissing, Jenn had a rather quirky answer to it. Talking to ExtraTV, Jenn was asked, "How'd you feel kissing people, knowing that there were cameras there and knowing that maybe your mom and dad will be watching you?"
Jenn replied how closing her eyes always did the trick. "I was not thinking about my mom and dad, all I'm gonna say is, you're more unaware of the cameras when your eyes are closed and you're kissing someone than when your eyes are open. If anything it was easy," Jenn replied.
Jenn also shared that watching those moments later on TV was awkward not just for her parents but also for herself. The close-up shots during kisses made her feel insecure, as they highlighted every detail, which she found unsettling. Despite the awkwardness and insecurities, Jenn said that kissing multiple men on the show made her feel adventurous.

Witnessing her parents continuous fighting left her with a sense of failure, lacking a positive example of a loving partnership.
The situation escalated to the point where her parents decided to sleep in separate rooms, and her father moved to the basement, maintaining this arrangement for nearly six years. Jenn also shared how this affected her, as she got used to "accepting anybody who would give her love or what she thought was love."
She candidly shared that her past has made her more cautious and reflective about what she truly wants in a partner.

Talking to Jesse Palmer after her eviction, Jenn revealed how her experience on the show featuring Joey Graziadei was painful for her, more so after her sudden departure. "Sorry I didn't think I would get emotional watching that back." She added, "I think it was the fact that I didn’t really get a goodbye, that was hurtful."
However, she broke down in tears when Jesse asked if she needed closure from Joey. The reality star also revealed her true feelings for Joey Graziadei, saying, "I did tell him I was falling in love with him in Montreal and it was just the fact that in previous relationships I really shied away from opening up."
