'The Bachelorette' Season 18 Finale: Inside Brandon's final date with Michelle

While fans seemed to be torn over what to make of Brandon's intensity, Michelle claims that she is now in love

If you've been emotionally invested in the love life of a certain Michelle Young, then it's now down to the wire when it comes to who will be the final man standing. With Brandon and Nayte trying to prove that they are the one for Michelle, she has to make the all-important decision that could change her life forever.

While Brandon and Nayte both met with Michelle's family and sister, it was evident that the Youngs preferred Brandon over Nayte. However, Nayte seems to be Michelle more obvious choice.

With the final dates underway, Michelle set out on a date with Brandon first, where they went water skiing and had a little picnic. By the end of it, Michelle seemed to be more in love than ever and fans felt the same way.

"The smiles I see with Brandon and Michelle when they're together are just so genuine and you can see the pure joy in their eyes. How will this night end omg   #TheBachelorette #finalrose" added another. "Been a Brandon since the first night. He has such a charming personality and always puts a smile on your face. No surprise Michelle's family loved him.  #TheBachelorette" tweeted a fan. 

However, some fans aren't entirely convinced that Brandon is the one. "Think she likes the attention she receives from him and will put her first, but don't think she would do the same for him. #TheBachelorette" tweeted a fan. ""I face things with love instead of anger" WHO IS FEEDING HIM LINES? #TheBachelorette" added another. "I just KNOW Brandon's not gonna win and I'm gonna be very upset when it happens #TheBachelorette" suggested another. "Exactly. That kind of intensity at this point is giving me agita. It feels unstable. #TheBachelorette #thebacheloretteabc #thebachelorette" agreed another. "brandon: yeah your mom said she wants me to be there at the end i can't be the only one who sees this as a little desperate?? #TheBachelorette #BacheloretteABC" asked another. 

However, towards the end of the date, Michelle admitted that she was in love with Brandon. He even gave her a sentimental gift -- the sweatshirt he wore during their fantasy suite segment, as it reminded him about how he wanted to wake up to her. Michelle admitted that she has never felt this way or been with someone who loves her so unconditionally.
