It looks like Meatball aka James Clarke is losing his sauce on 'The Bachelorette' Season 19. Fans were left cringing and questioning his motives to be on the dating show after watching him reject Rachel Recchia's rose, saying he was interested in Gabby and had a deeper connection with her.

But by the end of the ceremony when Gabby didn't hand him the rose and he was amongst the eliminated suitors alongside Termayne, Alec, and Jacob, Meatball quickly tweaked his plan. Instead of accepting his fate and kissing goodbye to the show, Meatball approached Rachel and tried pointing out to her that he deserved a second chance to be on the show. He explained that although he thought he had a better connection with Gabby, in reality, he didn't get enough time to get to know Rachel. He then expressed an interest in getting to know her better and asks her for another chance.

It looks like Rachel accepted Meatball's request and took him back as he could be spotted in the preview for the next episode. Fans had mixed feelings about it. A fan shared, "If I got rejected by a man named Meatball I would not be giving that Meatball another chance. #TheBachelorette."

"I would have thrown meatball and his sauce in the trash if he rejected my rose #TheBachelorette," claimed another fan. "I really hope Rachel takes Meatball back just to humiliate him next week #TheBachelorette," hoped a fan.
