'The Bachelorette' 2022: Fans demand 'financial compensation' after watching Gabby's dominatrix group date

It isn't a season of 'The Bachelorette' with a bizarre group date but it looks like fans got one just before hometowns

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS: Season 19 of 'The Bachelorette' has Rachel and Gabby on the quest to find happiness and with hometowns fast approaching, it looks like their journey is quickly coming to a close. This season has seen its fair share of ups and downs, owing to the fact that two bachelorettes meant twice the drama.

While Gabby sent Nate home ahead of the group dates, she was hoping that spending time with the other men would help her move forward. While her connection with Nate was the strongest, she still had Erich, Johnny, Logan, Jason and Spencer to pick from.

Each season, the dates on the show seem to get wilder (and more questionable), so it wasn't too much of a surprise when the men found themselves visiting a dominatrix with Gabby for a group date. The date delved into talking about sex and the men were all set to bare it all and have fun. Fans, on the other hand, weren't as thrilled.

"What in the Christian Grey did I just watch #TheBachelorette" tweeted a fan. "We should all be entitled to financial compensation after watching this date #TheBachelorette" said another. "It’s like the played mad libs to decide the dates for this season. “Armpit sniffing” “fish slapping” “dominatrix interrogation” like WHAT #TheBachelorette #bachelorette" added a fan.

While fans were questioning the date itself, Sanne, the dominatrix asked the men about the safe word in bed. While the men joked around, Logan was quick to suggest asbestos as his safe word, which fans found rather fitting for him. "Logan's safeword is Asbestos .. because it's toxic and no one wants it around #bachelorette #TheBachelorette" said a fan. "So fitting for Logan to choose the word asbestos #TheBachelorette #bachelorette" added another. "Logan is exactly like asbestos. #bachelorette #TheBachelorette" wrote a fan. "Not Logan’s safe word being a TOXIC chemical just like he is  #bachelorette #TheBachelorette" tweeted another. But jokes aside, Logan ended up testing positive for COVID-19, causing Jesse to announce that the group date would be canceled. This meant that the group date rose went to no one. Going into the rose ceremony, Gabby now has four of them to give out. The question is, who will they go to?
