'The Bachelor' Season 26: Susie confronts Clayton about sleeping with Gabby and Rachel

Susie made her feelings clear -- for her, sleeping with other women was a deal-breaker. But by then, the damage was done

With fantasy suites finally here, Clayton has to make the all-important choice of finding the woman that will be his fiancee. With three contestants left, they all seem to have incredibly strong connections with him, or so fans thought.

While Gabby and Rachel set out on fantasy suite dates that ended in intimacy, his date with Susie ended up being a total disaster. Susie expressed that Clayton sleeping with the other woman would be a dealbreaker. And in the end, it proved to be just that.

After an eventful date, Susie and Clayton sat down for dinner together. It all seemed to go well until Clayton told her that he was falling in love with her. Susie was appreciative of his confession, but she did bring up that she was worried about him having slept with Gabby and Rachel. To her, if she were the one for him, Clayton sleeping with anyone else would change everything. Clayton stalled but eventually told her the truth -- he had slept with Gabby and Rachel and had feelings for them. Susie seemed to withdraw from the situation, and fans called her out on it, seeing that she didn't bring this up sooner and just sprung it out on him out of the blue.

"While it's great Susie is setting boundaries, they should've been set before now specially since she ended up being the last fantasy date #TheBachelor" tweeted a fan. "What show did Suzie think she was signing up for? This is CRINGYYY. Also, if they make her the bachelorette (I hope not- we already had one Hannah brown & that's plenty), I hope she sticks to the same standards she's holding Clayton to  #BachelorNation #bachelor" added another. "I get Clayton is on full clown shoe mode buuuut I'll always get annoyed by contestants that act shocked that the bachelor sleeps with someone else like have you not seen the show ?? #Bachelor" noted a fan. "I'm sorry but Susie should've brought up MUCH earlier that she's not okay with him sleeping with other women THERE I SAID IT #TheBachelor" tweeted a fan. "Susie is obviously entitled to her feelings/opinion however it's pretty unfair that this seems to be the first he's hearing about it. #thebachelor" agreed another. "Look. I don't like Clayton, but you can't hold someone accountable for a boundary you never communicated to them. That's not fair. #wyatr #TheBachelor" added a fan. 

However, as the conversation progressed, Clayton got defensive, saying that had Susie conveyed these feelings soon, they would not be in this situation. For Susie, seeing that this was a dealbreaker, she couldn't seem to go ahead with the process. Clayton was upset over the fact that she was willing to throw it all away without talking it over. Fans felt as though Clayton got too aggressive, as he pinned the blame on her for not communicating her feelings with him.
