'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette' couples who found love on the show and are still going strong
As 'The Bachelorette' season 15 finale is around the corner and Hannah Brown makes her final decision about who she wants to give out the final rose to, let us have a look at The Bachelors' and 'The Bachelorettes' from earlier seasons, who have found love on the show and continued their relationship long after the cameras stopped rolling.
'The Bachelor' has had a successful run for over 23 seasons. While many bachelors have proposed to the finalists on the show, very few went on to stay together. Here's a list of the couples whose relationship is still going strong post filming of the series.
1. Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney (season 13)
On the season's finale Jason proposed to the finalist Melissa Rycroft, however, later he had a change of heart and decided that he wanted to test the waters with the runner-up Molly Malaney. This change of heart has served the couple well, as the couple went on to get married on February 2010, a year after the series ended. The happy couple has a daughter, Riley, and currently reside in Seattle.
2. Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici (season 17)
Sean and Catherine Giudici got engaged on the Bachelor's finale episode. The couple's wedding was televised live on ABC on January 2014. They have two children together and in July 2019 it was announced that Catherine was pregnant with their third child.
3. Arie Luyendyk and Lauren Burnham (season 22)
Arie Luyendyk took a page from the previous bachelor Jason Mesnick's book. Arie proposed to the finalist Becca Kufrin during the finale, but later he decided that he wanted to give it a shot with the runner-up Lauren Burnham. Lauren and Arie went on to have a beautiful wedding in Hawaii earlier this year. The happy couple welcomed their first child in May 2019.
4. Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph (season 23)
Colton Underwood and Casie Randolph broke up during the show. However, Colton didn't propose to either of the finalists, he eventually went back to Cassie for a second chance. The couple is still together as of July 2019.
'The Bachelorette' has been on air since 2003. This popular spin-off of The Bachelor offers the runner-up from the previous season of 'The Bachelor' another shot at finding love. 5. Trista Sutter and Ryan Sutter (season 1)
Trista who was the runner-up on the first season of 'The Bachelor' was the first bachelorette. This time around, she did find a partner she was looking for. Ryan Sutter proposed to Trista during the finale. Their wedding was televised in 2003. The couple has two children and currently, stay in Colorado.
6. Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum (season 7)
Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum got engaged during the season 7 finale of 'The Bachelorette' in 2011. Their wedding was televised in December 2012. The couple has two children.
7. Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried (season 9)
Chris Siegfried, the finalist on 'The Bachelorette' proposed to Desiree Hartsock during the finale. The couple got married soon after. They have two children and live in Seattle.
8. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers (season 12)
Fan- favorite JoJo Fletcher accepted Jordan Rodgers' proposal on the season finale. The couple currently resides in Dallas and is yet to get married. JoJo expressed her inclination towards having a televised wedding during one of her interviews.
9. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo (season 13)
Rachel and Bryan Abasolo got engaged during the season 13 finale of 'The Bachelorette' in 2017. The couple has set their wedding date for August 2019.
10. Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen (season 14)
Becca accepted a proposal from Garret Yrigoyen during the season 14 finale of The Bachelorette in 2018. The couple is still engaged and has not set any wedding date yet.
