Episode 10 of 'The Atypical Family' takes a dramatic turn. Gwi-ju finds himself in a horrifying future where Da-hae is missing after a car accident. We then rewind a week to see how Da-hae, now Gwi-ju's fiancee, tries to alter fate.

Fearing that Gwi-ju's death is tied to Da-hae, his mother urges her to leave. However, Da-hae devises a daring plan, faking her own death to prevent Gwi-ju from time traveling again. Believing her dead, Gwi-ju wouldn't revisit the past, potentially breaking the cycle leading to his demise.

Da-hae stages a car accident with the help of her uncle Noh Hyeong-Tae (Choi Kwang-rok) during a rainy trip. Gwi-ju, devastated, blames himself and attempts to go back to warn her, but fails. Meanwhile, I-na, Gwi-ju's daughter, notices inconsistencies in Da-hae's disappearance.

Through sharp observation, I-na discovers Da-hae's uncle is hiding something and suspects foul play. It turns out Da-hae's own mother, fearing Da-hae would expose a past secret, orchestrated the fake death for insurance money.

The episode ends with a bittersweet reunion. Gwi-ju finds Da-hae alive in a remote beach town, while Da-hae's uncle diverts her mother. Da-hae confesses her fear of Gwi-ju dying because of her, but Gwi-ju declares his love. Despite the danger, they choose to be together, leaving the ominous prophecy hanging in the air.

He'll have to decide if he stays with Da-hae, accepting the risk, or distance himself for her safety. This could lead to tension and conflict.

The unresolved issue concerning Da-hae's mother persists. Perhaps Gwi-ju's time travel abilities could come into play to expose her scheme or prevent her interference. The most likely scenario is that Gwi-ju and Da-hae trying to live a normal life together.

They might face social stigma or even danger from Da-hae's mother. But their love and newfound honesty could be their greatest strength. The episode could explore the true nature of the prophecy and Mrs. Bok's (Ko Du-Shim) disappointments from Da-hae and Gwi-ju.
