After the team of DeAngelo and Gary got eliminated on the December 9 episode of CBS’ ‘The Amazing Race', host Phil Keoghan asked the team members if they were going to cherish the journey on the season. DeAngelo responded saying there was nothing about the show he would remember and added that he was rich enough to travel to all those places on his own. Gary however interrupted saying he had a blast and he would remember the experience for life. But since team members go down together, fans of the show unleashed their anger on both of them for lack of "sportsmanship".

A viewer wrote, "#theamazingrace Gary and DiAngelo acted like a couple of whining babies, after THEY screwed over other teams sayin' 'it's a race. Deal with it'. They never gave anyone help. And DiAngelo bragging he was rich enough to travel w/o the Race. What a jackass. So glad they are gone!" Viewers were especially perturbed because the duo had consistently eliminated weak contestants without feeling sorry for them, but when the alliance of three (Hung and Chee, Maddison and Riley and Will and James) didn’t want to include them in the last challenge, DiAngelo and Gary took offense.

Only last week the duo gave the team of brother-sister Eswar and Aparna the U-turn which resulted in their elimination. Reminding the duo about the same a viewer wrote, "I just finished watching the last episode of #theamazingrace. Soo funny that he didn't enjoy the race. EVEN THOUGH, he loved when he beat out the siblings. Talk about 'it's a game, get over it!' Well, listen to your own advice." Another wrote, "How DARE anyone get to the mat being in the final 4 and say that hated the whole race right to @PhilKeoghan's face. That’s disgusting. HORRIBLE sportsmanship."

Even though the duo had been at the receiving end of constant backlash from the viewers, some were fans of the athletes as one wrote, "@DeAngeloRB loved seeing the Memphis come out in you at the end of the last leg. Sucks that it ended the way it did. You and Gary were my team." Another viewer was sad to see their journey end that way and wrote, "The penultimate leg was so (disgusted emoji) I was thinking oh I maybe the production had been disappointed with the alliance so they tried to make unusual challenges in order to not let alliances work. It worked until the last challenge that forced the final 3 to work together."

The top three teams to go to the final round were that of Hung and Chee, Maddison and Riley and Will and James. Congratulating the team members a viewer wrote, "#TheAmazingRace A Big Congratulations to Riley and Maddison, Will and James, Hung and Chee as they move into the Final Race... Watching them cheer for each other as they reached the pit-stop warmed my heart. Best Season Ever #CBS.”

'The Amazing Race' Season 32 airs on Wednesdays at 8 pm ET on CBS.
