'The Acolyte' Episode 7 Preview: Brendok's secrets to be finally revealed

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Acolyte' Episode 6 aired on Disney+ on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. The episode concluded with a suspenseful cliffhanger hinting at a significant revelation involving Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae), one of the central characters.
The enthralling episode delved deep into Qimir's (Manny Jacinto) past and its connection with Mae and Osha (Amandla Stenberg).
As the episode comes to an end, Master Sol, who is dejected and inconsolable following the massacre of the Jedi in the previous episode, vows to confront his past and the High Council.
Throughout the series, there have been subtle hints scattered across the narrative about Master Sol's past and its possible connection to Mae and Osha parting ways.
Brendok might be explored again in 'The Acolyte' Episode 7
In Episode 3, viewers were treated to a flashback revealing the history between Mae, Osha, and Mother Aniseya (Jodie Turner-Smith), who lived in the Witch's Coven and interpreted the Force in their unique way.
The episode, set 16 years before the current events of the series, depicted a group of Jedi arriving at Brendok to recruit Osha.
Mother Aniseya is unwilling to let Osha join the Jedi but ultimately gives in to Osha's strong desire to become a part of the Jedi.
Mae, unhappy with Osha's decision, starts a fire that destroys the entire coven. Master Sol saves Osha and brings her into the Jedi. Meanwhile, Mae, presumed dead for a time, reappears with a mission to kill the Jedi.
In Episode 7, we might expect another flashback as Master Sol discusses an event from 16 years prior with Mae.
It's also noteworthy that the director for both Episode 3 and Episode 7 is the same.
Master Sol will tell Mae the secret from his past after hiding it from Osha in 'Episode 7'
For much of Episode 6, viewers were led to believe that Mae successfully managed to hide her identity as Osha. However, in the final moments of the episode, Master Sol identifies her and takes her captive.
Before asking her about Osha and Qimir, Master Sol wants to tell her the secrets of his past. It's interesting that despite spending more time with Osha, Master Sol never shared his secrets with her. Now, he intends to disclose them to Mae even before finding Osha.
Master Sol's secret likely has a deep connection to Mae, especially considering she was presumed to be dead. Its secret could be linked to the Coven and the fire that occurred on Brendok.

'The Acolyte' premiered its first two episodes on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, followed by Episode 3 on June 11, 2024.
The fourth episode premiered on June 18, 2024, followed by the fifth episode on June 25, 2024, and the sixth episode on July 2, 2024. The series will continue airing weekly for its remaining episodes of 'The Acolyte'.
