Spoilers for 'The 100' Season 7 Episode 9 'The Flock'

It has been a tough season for Echo (Tasya Teles) on 'The 100', it really has. But we would be kidding if we said that other seasons were easy. In the seventh and final season, we saw Echo mirroring Octavia Blake's (Marie Avgeropoulos) descent into becoming Bloodreina and we all remember Echo judging Octavia for it. True, Echo may just be pretending to get vengeance for the supposed death of Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley), but after this week's episode, some fans are convinced that she has been converted for good.

Echo's search for Bellamy started in the season premiere when the Disciples kidnapped him. Later, we saw that as soon as he regained consciousness in Bardo, he put a knife to a Disciple soldier's neck just after the leader of the Disciples, Anders (Neal McDonough), entered a code into the anomaly stone. In the following blast, Echo and the Disciple soldier disappears, leading Octavia, Echo and the others to believe that he is dead.

While Echo, Octavia, Hope Diyoza (Shelby Flannery) and Charmaine Diyoza (Ivana Milicevic) are imprisoned, Echo figures out that the Disciples need them to be soldiers. This week's episode showed us what that training process looked like and while Hope could not pretend like the others to be alright with it, Echo seemed to be doing a phenomenal job. So phenomenal that she may not be acting even.

Fans felt the same way and wondered if the Echo we knew is gone forever. A fan tweeted, "What if Echo emotionally detached herself from Bellamy since she thinks he’s dead.... Will he and Clarke get together at the end?" Another wrote, "Echo my baby, why the f**k were you shooting at your friends????" A fan shared, "Not echo proving once again she’s the worst character on the show."

A fan tweeted, "Octavia and Diyoza only did it because they knew it was fake and they had to pass. Echo wanted to. Prove me wrong. #The100." Another opined, "Interesting echo is far gone or she’s just the same ole b***h that attacked Octavia in S3 #The100." Some fans are still rooting for Echo, with one tweeting, "Echo is f***ing with them SO MUCH I hope she gets all their secrets and destroys them lol #the100."

'The 100' airs on The CW on Wednesday nights at 8/7c. The show is going on a midseason break after this week and will return at a later date.
