'Thank you for this masterpiece': Fans ecstatic as Paramore drop their sixth album after 6-year hiatus

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Paramore fans, gather around. The wait is finally over and the band has officially dropped its sixth studio album 'This is Why'. The announcement was made through Twitter when the band posted this amazing news. 'This is Why' album is categorised as a post-punk genre album and it consists of 10 songs in total. This upcoming album is released after a 6-year gap from their last release 'After Laughter,' which was released on May 12, 2017.

To give a quick recap, the band 'Paramore' is famously known for producing songs like 'CrushCrushCrush', 'That's What You Get' and 'Hallelujah'. The band has also contributed to several iconic movie soundtracks, including songs 'Decode' and 'I Caught Myself' for the 'Twilight' movies and 'Monster' for 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon'. Paramore has seen several shake-ups since then and now the band consists of the golden trio - Hayley Williams, Zac Farro and Taylor York.

Ever since Paramore announced the release of their sixth studio album 'This is Why', fans of the band have been over the moon. They have been waiting for the album to come out for a while now. Their excitement over the album started with the release of the titular lead single, 'This is Why'. The lyrics to the song are simple, yet memorable. The lead single is penned by Hayley Williams, Taylor York, and Zac Farro and produced by Carlos de la Garza. The music video for this song was released on September 28, 2022, to a huge response from the listeners and upped their expectations from the album even more. And now that the album has been dropped, the fans cannot keep calm.

'Album of the Year'

Moments after the 'Out Now' tweet went out, one fan commented, "been waiting all my life for this." Another fan shared her album listening experience by posting, "So good ". One fan even went out and declared that it was the Album Of The Year, saying, "AOTY AND IM SERIOUS". Yet another fan confirmed the release and shared the excitement over it by posting, "YES PARAMORE DID RELEASE A NEW ALBUM TODAY YES THEY DID!!!!!!".  



 



 



 



 

One fan congratulated the band for the album and praised Hayley's vocals by saying, "It’s excellent, congratulations and thank you! As always, Hayley’s vocals are incredible, in tone, melody, phrasing, everything. So many highlights, but the chorus of Liar in particular is just so cool, groovy, and infectious." Another fan wanted more song in the deluxe version, noting the band's 6-year gap by saying, "we will be needing more 15 songs on the deluxe version sis it's been a 6 year hiatus ". Yet another fan declared this album to be a masterpiece by saying, "thank you for this masterpiece".
