Hayley Williams of Paramore thanked fans for all the birthday wishes on December 27 and also announced that she will be releasing new music in January 2020. According to the post she shared on Twitter, she will be putting out a solo album soon.

She wrote, "I'm putting out some new music next year. With the help of some of my closest friends, I made something I'm going to call my own." She added, "It's a really special project and you'll get a taste of it in January."

Fans have long been speculating that the lead singer of Paramore was working on a solo album, though Hayley had been insisting she would never go solo. Paramore's last album 'After Laughter' released in 2017.

Fans are excited about the news, with one fan writing, "I've always said that the day Hayley Williams goes solo, or releases solo work, she will be the biggest pop star in the country."

However, there are those who are worried this might be the end of Paramore as a band as they have not performed together since 2018. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this year, Hayley said, "I really don't know what's next for Paramore."

Some fans hope that the singer will be working on both solo and Paramore music together. One fan wrote on Reddit, "I hope she continues to work on new Paramore stuff along with her solo project. But in all honesty, as long as we get good music I'm happy."

After an Instagram account named 'Petals for Armor' with followers including those associated with Paramore and Williams' hair dye company Good Dye Young, was noticed by fans, they are now speculating that it could be an upcoming song from Williams.

According to some fans, with an extra "a", the phrase could be an anagram for the "Last of Paramore".
