‘Temptation Island’: Fans cheer Rick for being a friend to Casey and calling out Medinah on her 'selfish' behavior
Just when you thought you couldn’t love Rick from ‘Temptation Island’ even more, he finds a new way to surprise you and make you fall for him all over again. Although he has been unfaithful to his girlfriend Ashley G before coming on the show, he has shown nothing but growth and maturity during his time on ‘Temptation Island’. Rick very vividly remembered how painful it was for him to watch his girl Ashley G with KB on day 1 during the bonfire, so when Casey was going through a similar situation with Ashley H, he wanted to be there for Casey.
Rick sat with Casey and tried talking to him and cheering him up. While this simple yet humane act of his was winning brownie points in our books, his temptress- Medinah wasn’t happy. She kept repeatedly calling out to Rick while he was with Casey asking him to join her in the pool. Rick tells her that he would be joining her in a bit as he was with Casey. Later that day Medinah expresses to Rick that she isn’t getting as much attention from him, and wants more from him. Rick explains to her that he was being a “good friend” to Casey and wanted to check on him. She then provokes him by asking if he was on the show to cheer Casey. This annoys Rick and he explodes at her and calls her “selfish”. He says, “Now you just sound like a selfish a** person right there. You don’t give a f**k about me checking on somebody else who’s going through the same sh*t that I went through. What the f**k do I need to be up your f**king a** every two f**king seconds when somebody else next to me that went through the same sh*t I’ve been through [and] see this girl get f**ked by somebody else. You just even making that sentiment right here just tells me what type of person you are.”
Fans were very happy to see Rick go off on her. A fan wrote, “Damn Rick! Set her the f**k straight man. Holy sh*t idk about extra, but Medinah clearly has never thought about anyone but herself. #TemptationIsland”. Another fan commented, “I’m glad rick finally told medinah about herself bc she’s been too pushy & it’s getting annoying #temptationisland”.
“Rick is 100% in the right here. Medinah was being incredibly selfish expecting attention when Rick was supporting Casey. Then to come after him for doing that like he’s the bad guy? He’s the best dude in the house! #TemptationIsland”, pointed out a fan. Another fan tweeted, “Rick went off on Medinah. And I agree with him. He was tryna be a friend and She was still tryna be stage 5 clinger #temptationIsland”.
Several fans also felt that Medinah wasn’t the best fit for him and advised him to “run away” from her. A fan tweeted, “Rick please run away from Medinah!! She is so needy, clingy and a stalker. That is so unattractive it makes her look insecure. #TemptationIsland”. Another fan shared, “Nooooo Rick! Medinah is a manipulative sociopath. Get out now. #temptationisland”. “Yo send Medinah home Rick. She is selfish and trash. How you this needy and Rick not your man? Girl bye. #TemptationIsland”, expressed a fan.
