‘Temptation Island’: Fans think its 'karma' that KB 'friendzoned' Ashley after she cheated on her boyfriend Rick with him
Ashley G and her boyfriend of four years, Rick, came on the show to test if Rick would be able to resist all the temptations. Prior to coming on the show, Ashley gave Rick a bunch of rules and set boundaries for him. But Rick had complete faith in Ashley and didn’t put any boundary on her. In fact, even when the boys were heading towards their first bonfire, Rick proudly says that he has nothing to worry about.
Unfortunately for Rick, Ashley’s insecurities and trust issues towards him came into play and on the first night itself, Ashley went to bed with tempter- KB. We later see Ashley regretting her actions and feeling bad about it. But during the bonfire when she saw a clip of Rick holding temptress Medinah’s hands, she was so heartbroken that she decided to move on.
Fans suspected KB to be a player from the get-go and they weren’t wrong. On episode 5, which aired on October 31, we see Ashley asking KB what did he think about her decision to leave the island with him. KB immediately friend zones Ashley by saying that she should be open to other singles and give love another chance.

Fans felt that karma got Ashley for her cheating on Rick, while Rick hasn’t overstepped his boundaries at all and remained faithful to her. A fan tweeted, “Ashley cheated on Rick right away by getting in bed with KB just to end up getting friend zoned by KB lolll. Karma is crazy. #TemptationIsland”. Another fan wrote, “LMAOOOOOO KB just wanted to smash. And he did. Ashley you done gave it up for someone who don't want you. COLD GAME. #TemptationIsland”.
Fans feel that Ashley threw her relationship of four years over nothing. A fan shared, “Ashley, KB is a dog girl. I coulda tol you that nite 1. We've all made shit decisions, too bad that one cost you such a great guy #TemptationIsland”. “Honestly, Ashley got what she deserved. She should’ve seen that KB wasn’t interested in anything serious. And she threw away a 4 year relationship for him #TemptationIsland”, wrote a fan. A fan summed up the whole situation with, “Imagine cheating on your man just to get friend zoned by the dude you cheated with lmfaoo I have 2nd hand embarrassment for Ashley G #TemptationIsland”.
