'Tell Me A Story Season 2': Release date, plot, cast, trailer, news and everything else about the show

Following the first season which showed us how an ideal romantic relationship can turn into a nightmare when paired with varied emotions such as loss, greed, and vengeance, season 2 is returning with a different set of tales.

Kevin Williamson’s 'Tell Me A Story' made us look at some of our favorite childhood fairy tales in a manner we never imagined we could! Interwoven with the dark versions of 'Three Little Pigs', 'Little Red Riding Hood', and 'Hansel and Gretel', season 1 earned the reputation for being one of the best psychological-thriller television series. Following the first season which showed us how an ideal romantic relationship can turn into a nightmare when paired with varied emotions such as loss, greed, and vengeance, 'Tell Me A Story' 2 is returning with a different set of tales.

Release date:

Season 2 of Tell Me A Story 2 will air on December 5, 2019 on CBS.

Plot:

The upcoming season of 'Tell Me A Story' has merged three popular tales, consisting of 'Beauty and the Beast', 'Sleeping Beauty', and 'Cinderella.' It showcases in detail the various struggles of the protagonist, such as spending sleepless nights in the woods and going great lengths to impress his lady love, until he ponders over a dark secret that turns his life around. The preview of the psychological-thriller promises a compelling plot while keeping you on the edge of your seat.

While season 2 will continue to feature Paul Wesley and Tucker Reed from the original series, it has five new additions. A few months ago, CBS announced that the upcoming installment has roped in Odette Annable, Natalie Alyn, Matt Lauria, Eka Darville, and Ashley Madekwe.

Odette Annable

Odette is seen as Maddie, an overachiever always striving to bring peace in her distorted family. Natalie’s role Ashley is shown as a fame-hungry rising musician, who, after a brutal attack, chooses to isolate herself from the rest of the world. Matt Lauria features as Jackson, a man with conflicting interests, trying hard to strike a balance in his life.

Eka Darville

Eka Darville is seen as beau, an honorable man who is obsessed with perfection. However, he begins to explore new things when his high regard for values and morals turns against him.

Ashley Madekwe

Simone, played by Ashley Madekwe, moves to Nashville to lead an independent life. But, her father’s death brings her back home and puts her in a position she was unwilling to be placed at. The story follows as she risks her life to expose the family’s dark secrets.

Tell Me A Story is created by Kevin Williamson. He’s also the face behind other popular series such as ‘Dawson’ Creek’, ‘The Vampire Diaries’, and ‘Stalker.'
