The mercury is rising in Nashville, especially in the lives of the Pruitt family and the Garlands as well. We are only three episodes into the season and a lot has been laid out in front of us. While we are overwhelmed with the happenings in each of the characters life, we are also keen to find out more and what could ensue as we dive further into the story.

The preview of episode 4 shows that some of our lead characters will see their hidden past unraveling, while the others will discover new ones. After we saw Tucker’s wild and violent side in episode 3, we were in shock and awe of how a confused, struggling author could go all the way to kidnapping, and perhaps murder.

Even before we had gotten over the revelations, the trailer of episode 4 presents us with more shocks. Perhaps we will also learn about Tucker’s childhood and what could have contributed to his hidden violent streak.

The trailer also promises more dramatic events in the life of Ashley Rose.

We are already aware of an obsessed fan who practically stalks her, to the extent of flirting and dating (pretending to date) Ashley’s assistant. But now, he will not be in the shadows anymore. If our assumptions (from the flash forwards) are right, he will attack Ashley, not to kill her but to own her and be close to her and profess his love/obsession for her.

We cannot say for sure if Ashley will be in physical danger or just psychologically and emotionally traumatized by the incident. Also, considering Beau is always by her side, it might not reach the extent of Ashley being harmed.

Elsewhere, there’s Simone, fighting for her rights on her father’s property, which her step mother and step brothers have conveniently hoarded. But Simone is not the kind to give up.

She might be like Cinderella, but she isn’t fragile or tender like a princess. She is self-sufficient, bold, and can fight for herself. She will dig into the truth of her father’s death and will unearth information which can ruin her step-family. Now, whether she goes ahead with the damages or not is something we will have to see.

For now, all we can say is that three of our key protagonists are going to tell us their stories, which we would have not imagined yet.

‘Tell Me A Story’ Season 2 airs every Thursday at 12am, only on CBS All Access.
