'Tales of The Walking Dead' is off to a rather shaky start, or at least the fans who watched the premiere on AMC+ felt that the spin-off was a rather mixed bag. The latest from 'The Walking Dead' franchise, the six-episode anthology series stars a string of big names and the season opener starred Terry Crews and Olivia Munn in key roles as they navigate life in the post-apocalyptic world.

Scott M Gimple and Channing Powell serve as the creators and executive producers, and the show will feature big names in Olivia Munn and Terry Crews. Michael E Satrazemis, who directed several of the TWD and 'Fear the Walking Dead' episodes helmed three of the six episodes with Haifaa al-Mansour, Deborah Kampmeier, and Tara Nicole Weyr directing the other three.

"Tales of the walking dead is great so far. Amazing storytelling and a great new direction for the universe. @terrycrews dry crying is the only gripe I got. It was awful and hilarious at the same time," one of the tweets read.

On the subject of Crews, another fan tweeted, "@terrycrews Hey. Loved you in Tales of the Walking Dead. I've been a fan since The Omega Man came out with Charlton Heston. Omega Man was a remake of The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price (1964)."

"There's too many spinoffs, but I gave Tales of The Walking Dead a whirl. It's 8 separate stories of other people in the world, the first one is Terry Crews and Olivia Munn on a road trip which has me sold," a fan opined. "I enjoyed the first episode of Tales of the Walking Dead," a fan said.

Not all segments were happy. "Tales of the walking dead???? not another walking dead spin off... who keeps giving them money???" one of the comments read. "Tales of the walking dead is bad, so so bad," a fan exclaimed.

"Tales of the Walking Dead was ok. The Munn one is out the way so they can only get better," a fan wrote. "Tales of The Walking Dead Episode 1 - I am not a fan of this spin-off season as of yet. In my opinion, comedy and TWD do not mix well. #TTWD 2/10. Hoping the next 5 stories turn out better than the first..," one of the fans said.

"Let's talk about the immense logical fallacies in this dreadful new Tales of The Walking Dead show: 1) He can build a bunch of traps and mods for his bike - cant build a fence 2) Zs can show up anywhere, so of course she walks into a building and leaves the door open," a fan remarked.
