Syfy Wire's 'The Great Debate' with Baron Vaughn is finally here to answer all the biggest questions in the multiverse. The first episode of the new Syfy series already brought in a lot of laughs with Orlando Jones, Adam Savage, Jonah Ray, and Amber Nash debating hot topics about the '80s. One of the topics that the iconic stars argued over was the noblest steed in fiction: Battle Cat from 'He-Man and the Masters of the Universe' or KITT from 'Knight Rider'?

Syfy Wire's official Twitter handle tweeted out the question to fans with a poll captioned, "Talking car. Giant cat. Wow, this is a tough one. What say you? #TheGreatDebateSYFY." Obviously, there were people on both sides of the argument. Here's a sample of the ones who supported KITT over Battle Cat. "Kitt or Battle Cat? Gotta go with the car! #TheGreatDebateSYFY," one fan responded. "Kitt a car that talks and drives itself," another fan wrote. Yet another fan pointed out that, "If Skeletor had a laser pointer he could have taken out the Battle Cat #TheGreatDebateSYFY."

However, there were a fair share of people who supported Battle Cat as well, mostly because Jones pointed out that you wouldn't get pulled up by a cop if you were riding a cat. "'You can’t get a DUI riding around on Battlecat' ok that was funny #TheGreatDebateSYFY," one such fan tweeted. "@donttrythis You're wrong re: Battle Cat vs KITT. Battle Cat never talked back. #TheGreatDebateSYFY," another fan wrote. One fan responded with a whole list of reasons to support Battle Cat, writing, "1. Masters of the universe (who doesn’t love that?) 2. Cowardly Furball Green Cat (What women doesn’t love a fat cat) 3. He-man....enough said." So who came out on top in the end? Well, on the show, Vaughn picked KITT as the winner and as of the writing of this article, that's the result on Twitter as well.

According to the poll, 63.3% of the fans have voted for Knight Rider's KITT while only 36.7% of the fans have sent their votes in for He-Man's Battle Cat. Sorry, Battle Cat, you're still the best kitty of the 80s.

'The Great Debate' airs new episodes on Thursdays at 11 pm ET on Syfy.
